I was just as confused. The number of times he professed his love within the last 10 minutes was beyond me

I don’t want to be mean but judging from the comments, I’m not certain it’s the same drama we’re all watching .

I find the drama to be very childish with zero communication skills . The explanation they gave for kluen not telling dao that he liked him wasn’t even an explanation.

The way dao acted from ep1 till ep7 like Kluen broke his heart when all Kluen said was “safe journey” , is something I cannot comprehend.

I also found myself skipping a lot of scenes . Some scenes were okay but overall I’d say this series is infuriating and would most likely only appeal to high schoolers or middle schoolers .

Plus I found kluen’s acting to be a bit bad . But I’m certain overtime he’ll improve ❤️&💡

This drama is like a middle school play .
It was like the criteria for the drama was terrible acting . The script didn’t help the actors either . Most of the time it felt like they were reading a nursery speech .

But if you drop your iq and not take the drama seriously you’d find it funny and actually laugh . Just assume that your friends came together to make a movie just for fun ??

Most of the time I found it hard to believe those were actual scenes . It was like a compilation of bloopers.

The singing caught me off guard and was uncalled for . It only made the drama seem more of a joke than it already was.

Bonus : there’s no proper kiss scene ❤️&?

If you’re looking for romance, this isn’t the drama for you .

Personally I found the drama boring and I didn’t think the leads had chemistry.

The writers spent so much time on other characters while neglecting the leads romantic feelings. The writer then chose to use jealousy to make them realize their feelings.

Then suddenly they get into a relationship towards the end of the drama and become overly affectionate? I wasn’t buying it .

I love gong Jun but this is a no for me (the script is off not the acting).

Moving to the psychology aspect, the cases were handled poorly . The beginning of most episodes were somehow . I get they wanted to be mysterious but it was just off

I have so many things to highlight about my disappointment but I’ll just stop here .

I wouldn’t recommend it but you could still watch it if you want

This is me right now 😂. I just completed word of honor and I’m planning to binge watch all of gong Jun’s dramas starting with advance bravely

I just completed this movie and wouldn’t have known there was a series before the movie.

In all honesty this is more than a movie. It’s more like a true story well told and I loved it .

Not everyone is bold enough to accept who they truly are, talk less of coming out . It’s much easier to go through the society’s norm.

I loved how well the story was well written and acted out . The two leads also have a beautiful chemistry.

Yeah I found out it was the original and that’s why I was interested in it . I wish I had watched it first . I probably would’ve appreciated it more

Hi , I completed ashes of love about a week ago and I couldn’t help but compare it to love and redemption because they had similar storylines . Although love and redemption had way more misunderstandings I liked the chemistry between the leads there compared to ashes of love

This drama is truly overhyped. I just completed it because I had already downloaded all the episodes. They had so many misunderstandings to the point that it was just so upsetting. I won’t recommend you continue it

Please the misunderstandings weren’t “mere” at all . The entire drama was literally from one misunderstanding to another and it was exhausting. Literally every character was misunderstood 😑
