WOW! 10000/10 top notch detective/police drama. Watching this is like sitting in the room of real police. The way they conducted their investigation was so satisfying, it felt so real. Lin Yuhong & Zhao Wei really complete each other, best leaders!
The whole team was very good and I like to see that every ambush that they went, they were always accompanied by other police teams. I kinda feel frustrated watching other drama scenes where police get hurts when they were catching criminals bcs they were acting on their own.

I have the same opinion regarding ML's expression too. C-drama ML usually has that strong passionate character towards their lover so I kinda surprised seeing stoic expression from ML seeing his beloved in danger lol.
It's a 40-episode series, but I never skipped a single one — that's how amazing this drama is! The OSTs are sooo damn good, Withered is my favourite. I think everyone nailed their character except the emperor bcs his facial expression kinda meh to me lol.
Also ahem Xiao Heng's dad was kinda charming ahemmmm
