Binge watching this, and I just had this nagging feeling that I'd seen it somewhere before. Not this actual drama, but something like it. It just felt like another drama I had seen called Heard it Through the Grapevine. Looked up that drama, and, yep, same director and several actors. Totally explains the feel and pacing of this drama. I see others expressing their frustration with this drama, but if they had seen HITTG, it wouldn't be a surprise. Stull frustrating, but not a surprise. This is totally that director's style. I'm just glad he didn't use the weird close-ups, or watching events happen through plants, stair railings, or other such obstacles this time!
I honestly don't know what I was thinking holding off on watching this! The story/writing was absolutely fantastic…
Just finished watching, and I was a bit bummed by the ending. Glad I read your post, because now it makes so much more sense. Thanks for doing the hard thinking for me. LOL
I agree with you all, I'm also afraid of a bad ending but as long as I can watch Gong Hyo Jin for another 5 episodes…
I think I could handle a sad ending much better than an open ending. However, I agree that a stupid reason for his symptom would just be too much. It makes me think he has a life threatening illness, but then him seeing Kang Woo didn't start until he was attacked by Jae Bum, so that makes me think it's psychological. I don't know. I go back and forth. I'm just trying to prepare myself for the worst, though.
If it is a sad ending, it better be an epic one to match with rest of this great drama.
This better not have a bad ending or I'm getting my torch and pitchfork after the writers. After all Jae Yeol has been through, he, and his brother, deserve some peace and happiness in life!
Why is this only being aired once a week? I'm so used to having two a week that I'm feeling deprived. LOL This looks like it is going to be a really cute drama. :)
