In my honest opinion, whoever gets casted as the main leads of this show will have to be aware of fans and trolls…
Because it's one of the best novel out there... The FL is very intelligent and cunning, she has a very loving parents and a elder brother, who treats her as the apple of his eyes. Unlike other novels, she has a very kind best friend and a very caring cousin sister ( from her mother's side).
Not to mention the ML who is the definition of perfection. Although you won't find that much of romantic scenes in first half... There will be a alot of romance in the second half, after 2 years leap.
Why do I think Zhang Bin Bin would fit XJX character really well. He is very handsome, manly and dreamy as well…
I won't agree with Peng Xiaoran because I didn't like any of her drama except for Goodbye My Princess... Also we need an actress who has good acting skills and also bigger fanbase from the ML since it is a big female drama.

Rumours are that Deng Wei and Tian Xiwei are going to work in this one... For me Tian Xiwei is okay (although I'm still scared of her taking this role since it is big female lead drama)... For me Deng Wei is still not upto my expectation as I have only seen him as SML and not that high level of acting ... So I highly doubt wether he will be able to play XJX or not... I would be happy if I'm proven wrong by them.

First of all... LYF is not your typical Xianxia drama... The story line and the characters there are very twisted and complex... It's more like a xiaohuan drama. Also YZ took this drama willingly because of the complex female character, which was challenging for her... If you are talking about YZ's last proper xianxia drama than it is Immortal Samsara, which was actually forced on her by her previous agency and it was also due to this, YZ finally left her damn agency.
For me it is Yang Zi... Because this drama would require a actress who will be able carry the whole drama at the back of her shoulders as almost the whole plot and all the characters will be around the FL.
Zhang Yaqin is also good, but I have not seen her in big female drama where she is the central focus so I have slightly doubt on it.

There is difference between playing side roles and playing a main role... They have to cast an actress who will be able to carry the whole drama in her shoulders as she will be the central focus of the show and all the character will revolve around her... If TXW can do that I will accept her... The novel of the drama is very close to my heart as this was my first Chinese novel which I was able to complete and loved it.

Sorry to say but I don't think right now 95 flowers are capable enough to play FL which is a very complicated character... I like Tian Xiwei as well but right now I don't have that confidence on her to be able to play Shen Miao... Also this is a big female oriented project so they have to take a female actress with high and strong fan base (both national and international) so that they won't get foreshadowed by the male actors.
