In Asia, if a girl or boy introduce their partners to his/her parents that means they are ready to settle down together... It is very serious matter here, especially when your parents are old school type... She is not a prophet where she can instantly understand that something is wrong with ML.... If not before, the ML had many opportunities like during the dinner with her parents, he could have told her parents and her together or after the failed dinner when FL asked numerous times that what is wrong and many more after that... But he didn't say anything...

Manhua's clothing are lot prettier then this one... This one is the direct copy paste of Sword and Brocade... It's making it look like a inner court drama rather than a Xiahoua drama...
Looks like they are gonna keep that costumes for the actors... Netizens are complaining about the clothes, yet the director, producers and costume designer are turning deaf to those comments... The cast line up looks strong... Except for Zhai Xiaowen, I know all the other actors and actresses... This looks like one of IQIYI's light-hearted dramas with less number of episodes... I thought it was only a rumour, but looking at the cast lineup, it looks confirmed for me... But I will still wait for official announcement...
My take on this drama: It deals with psychological issues... I mean 'real' psychological issues... It's not your regular common ones that you know... There are many unheard cases like bulimia, post pregnancy issues, mind of a rape victim etc... If you are accustomed of watching light hearted rom com dramas, then you will find it a bit boring, but if you watch it second or third time, you will find it quite interesting...The portrayal of all the psychological cases are extremely well done and the visuals shown for the better understanding of the issues were fantastic... It's very informative and well written... I'm a fan of Yang Zi, but I found it boring at first go, because I got accustomed of her roles like Jin Mi and Tong Nian, since they were on light hearted side... But later, I started watching it alongside TOOL and I started to like it... I have fallen more deeply in love with Yang Zi... She has acted really well in both the dramas and you can find a big character difference in both the dramas... Jing Boran did a great job in portraying the flamboyant yet innocent Qian Kaiyi and Jia Renzi's portrayal of Tang LiLi will make you want a best friend like her... All the other characters who played the roles the 'elders' in the drama like FL's mother and the mentor also did a terrific job... Not to mention the actors and actresses who played the roles of the 'visitors' for treatment portrayed their characters in a realistic way... Although the romance here was secondary, it was still portrayed really well....
The one and only biggest flaw of th drama is the second ml and the thriller... Those two were the most unnecessary things included in this drama... I'm not telling that Jevon Wang is a bad actor, rather I'm criticising the writing of the character and the mystery thriller arc around him... This was not at all required in the drama... Even me as a viewer who is not much interested in thriller genres was bored to death... Without the second ml and the thriller part, this drama would have been a masterpiece in C industry...
Overall, this is a good drama with great acting skills, good case stories, great chemistry between all the characters, awesome friendship between women, great character arc of the FL, beautiful ost and great directing (except for the thriller part) .

I don't if there is happy ending or not since it has part 2 containing 8 episodes... The drama is based on psychological issues so the romance part is secondary here... The kissing scenes are from episode 23-24... They had been together since episode 2 although it's not as lovers, but as partners and friends...
For those who think there is no character growth in FL...After episode one and forward there was so much character…
Finally I found someone who understands the FL's character... I'm tired of people ranting the same tune of 'FL is immature' without even understanding her character properly... In my opinion the FL has the highest character development in the whole series, even more than the ML....
