TBH... I'm very scared when it comes to Tong Hua's adaptation of novels in dramas, especially xianxia parts... It's prequel was a big disaster... So I'm scared about it... I have faith that Yang Zi will be able to play a complex character like Jiu Yao... I liked Tan Jianchi in 'Under the Skin'... Also I have deep impression on Deng Wei, because he was able to make a crappy drama like 'Miss the Dragon' watchable, even after being SML... Not much opinion about Zhang Wanyi... But I think he will be good too... But if the script and directing is not good then it will become a disaster...

In my opinion... Tu Shen Jing is not like our typical ml, who is proud and dominating... He is someone who was once a confident and wealthy young master but now has lost all his self confidence and has become a cripple due to his brother's torture... He found his salvation in FL.... He is very very kind hearted.... He has a heart to forgive anyone, even his worst enemy...

It depends on person to person... FL is very normal for her age... We viewers might think that we won't do things like she is doing here... But at the age of 20-21 we have already done a lot of immature things we don't even know about it... We should remember that there is a very big gap between ml and fl.... One is a well accomplished surgeon with lots of money and good looks, while she is just a rookie cellist trying to achieve her goals... Even our SML and SFL are well accomplished in their fields... This puts her in lot of pressure, so that she can stand beside ml equally... And also makes her very insecure... There is no one to guide her properly... Even though ml has repeatedly told her that it doesn't matter, yet there still doubt in her mind... Because a doctor and a cellist being together never happens... So she trying her best to quickly achieve everything... Here their age gap also affects there personality... FL wants to enjoy whatever she has in the present so that in the future she doesn't regret, while ml thinks a lot about future and is trying to make it secure... Both are correct but these ideas clashes too... FL thinks that she has gotten too clingy to ML, which is affecting his health.... That's why she wanted to give him a space and time to rest... While ML thinks she might leave him if he doesn't stick to her.... It's nobody's fault actually...

I think it is shown in the first 6-7 episodes that how much she care for her father... Caring always doesn't mean physical care... There can be emotional care too... If Gu Wei really fell for her because she cares for her father... Then it shown here beautifully... She does fight with her father, but went on big lengths to have her father treated by the best doctor... When her father ran away she was very scared and tried her best to find him... When she was sick, she didn't care about herself, instead she was worried about her parents... There are many more things shown in the drama... It's just that we failed to notice it...

I think we are getting episodes tomorrow... Didn't someone mention that the mourning will be on Monday??

I agree with you too... But I think they want to highlight the big gap between ml and fl... Like FL is now in the phase of enjoying her life to the fullest while ml is more matured and responsible... When ML said that man don't like clingy girls... It created a different impact on her... No matter how much our fl behaves mature... It doesn't change the fact she is not fully experienced...

Partially it was Gu Wei's fault too at episode 14... He should have already made it clear about his feelings to Lin Zhixiao... If he was sacred of getting rejected, then he should have simply asked her about her feelings for SML... Ignoring her for no reason made her more confused... On top of it SML is trying to manipulate her, so she has too seek advice from Dr. Gu, but he was in a bar with girls (misunderstanding)... Which made her loose her rationality and took out her frustration on him... This is what we do in real life too... But after she was given proof, she decided to continue her father's treatment in China...
