I'm a bit sad to see Kim Kang Min playing the cliché role of the funny friend. In To my Star he's stunning and the acting is amazing. Here it seems that the stylists make him look less attractive so that he doesn't overshadow the dull Kim Yo Han.

KIM KANG MIN DESERVES LEADING ROLES NOW!!!!

I totally agree with you 100%. Thanks for saving me the trouble of writing this review :)

Review Nevertheless,
I love that you call him "potato boy" :)
Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised that they had sex at the beginning of the drama. It gives it a different flavor (makes it a little more realistic). I respect anyway your opinion.

I dopped one that everybody likes: Goblin. I love both FL and ML but I didn't like them in this drama. Couldn't…
you are not alone.. I dropped this two + Hotel del Luna and Descendants of the sun...
I don´t know why either

Review Hikaru no Go
This series is almost universally perceived as a bromance, or even a veiled BL. Which makes it the wrong place…
If you look at my review I try to explain that if I watch Asian series it is not precisely because of their feminist content, because it is clear that except for very few examples, none of them are concerned about the subject.
However from feminist content to quite misogynistic tendencies there is quite a stretch. I know the BL/Bromance genre and I can think of several examples of female characters in these series that have their own motivations, skills and strengths (Gu Xiang in Word of Honor, Wen Qing in The Untamed...). It's not about whether the characters have girlfriends or not. It's that the few women who appear are treated as silly girls, who only play go to be near the guys they like, who only clean or cook for them, or who don't even know how to turn on the TV.
