I get it now the drama is called startup because the letters and the SML were the Startup point for the main leads' romance. Double meaning hah

Ok now that sounds good. And makes sense. Also so many ask for more fleshed out secondary characters and get disappointed when they have one. But I think that DS himself is a very complex character even more than JP. I mean if he indeed has a lot more flaws then he also has the room for most growth.

Yeah it's not just him. It seems theatre actors are generally better. There have been some others who have transitioned from theatre to drama/movies who are very good. Honestly I know people who discuss such things so I learn a thing or two lol. You can read Seon Ho's interviews. He mentioned how he became better at acting in front of a camera cause with theatre it would be a bit different. He also seems to be acting non stop in roles. (Atleast before being busy with 2d1n) Must become tired. That's why he's my favorite cause his acting has been amazing. I first noticed him in catch the ghost. I was obsessed with the drama so I researched.

That's what I said to Ponnu above. The factors I previously never considered were the writer's intention the PD's casting choice, and yes the acting skills and experience. And yes maybe even part played by popularity. So it's not all popularity as people say.(confimed by a recent comment which mentioned a press conference with the pd)

I also at first thought it was cause he's popular. After all he's still ahead of Seon ho in the searches. So many already knew NJH but started to discover Seon Ho through this drama not to mention the no of his instagram followers. Though I think Suzy's popularity played a bigger part. But after someone put things for me in perspective I changed my opinion. There are various factors I hadn't considered.

Dude I meant he has a more than a decade worth of theater experience. Since 2009 I think. So he is more experienced in the art of acting. Why do you think he's so good?

Yeah we are. So many prefer JP. But DS is more endearing and soft.
