A Tale of Sympathetic Distance, Not Deep Love
Despite its romantic label, Queen of Tears lacks genuine emotional connection between its leads. From the start, their marriage feels more contractual than loving — the wife is cold and business-driven, while the husband is emotionally worn out. Even after her illness is revealed, the shift in their relationship feels rooted in sympathy, not rekindled love. The frequent tears may justify the title, but the drama ultimately explores emotional distance more than romance. Was this review helpful to you?

If it is about true love what about the love between Geum Myeong and her boyfriend?
This family drama beautifully portrays love, sacrifice, and resilience, with the entire cast delivering heartfelt performances. However, the film feels slow and repetitive at times, making it a bit depressing to watch. It also raises important questions about the parents’ evident discrimination between their son and daughter. Another key storyline shows the female lead’s deep love for her boyfriend, but due to his mother’s interference, she breaks up and marries someone she does not truly love. The film touches on deep love but leaves the emotional impact of this heartbreak somewhat unresolved. Was this review helpful to you?

Crash Landing on You Special: Lunar New Year

Romance, life, politics are real though few scenes seem unrealistic.
Crash Landing on You is a beautifully made drama with stunning visuals, touching romance, and a great mix of comedy and action. It offers a glimpse into the North-South Korean divide, adding emotional depth to the story. The chemistry between the leads is strong, and most scenes are thoughtfully presented. However, some parts feel unrealistic—for example, when the male lead suddenly appears in South Korea and finds her without any clear explanation, or when he shows up right after she lands from paragliding at the end. Despite this, it remains a heartfelt and entertaining drama worth watching. Was this review helpful to you?

Genre romance or game? and ending spoils the whole story.
Twenty-Five Twenty-One offers a compelling narrative of youth, dreams, and resilience, capturing the harsh realities of life more than romantic idealism. While marketed as a romance, its core feels more like a survival game, where personal growth takes precedence over love. The ending, though emotionally charged, feels disconnected from the journey, leaving questions about the meaning of sacrifice and fulfillment. Was this review helpful to you?

Its beautiful and loved the romance between the ML and FL.
Only for Love delivers a touching story that combines modern romance with themes of ambition, and emotional resilience. The central love story is well-written, and the chemistry between the leads feels natural and heartfelt. The show succeeds in portraying the emotional struggles of balancing career and personal relationships, which makes the characters relatable and engaging. The best things here are it has all, family, love, office romance (though it can't be real). It's a kind of rom com. It is engaging too.Was this review helpful to you?
