Title Alice in Borderland Season 2 Spoiler
I see some people here who didn't enjoy the show because they found it confusing or thought it was a dream sequence or the thrill was missing as compared to season 1. Season 1 mostly focused on thrill and horror yes, season 2 was mostly based on emotions and back stories along with characters own personal stories. This comment is for those who are still confused. Everything that happened was real. In the last episode we see that the people who were involved had died for 1 minute. Their soul were at the border between life and death hence the term "borderland". Assuming that their soul or consciousness travelled to another world where games are the only means of survival, the real them would still be stuck with Everything depending on the other world. If they die in the game, they die in real life. Arisu, usagi, kuina, chishiya, niragi and all other characters that survived the games made it back safely to the real world. Suppose 1 minute on earth = time spent in the other world. This is why the characters felt like they travelled somewhere faraway. Coming back to the thrill I admit this part was little minimised than the first season, but that was okay. This season main gist was emotion and story. Im glad this season took us further into the plot and uncovered the secrets. People are saying ep 8 was boring and could've been shorten but that wasn't the case. If you've read the manga ep 8 situation should have been more intense. But im glad they worked it out either way. Ep 8 was supposed to be as it is. It wasn't boring nor draggy. Mira was Queen Of Hearts so she had to play with Arisu's emotions in order for him to quit and lose. This wasn't a physical game, nor a team battle nor wit game. This was considered emotion game or in other case playing with hearts. Mira had to to everything to break down Arisu and she was almost successful. That's how the Heart game is played. Overall both the season's were good. Season 1 was more thrill side that kept you on the edge. Season 2 actually made me sit down nicely and think through the plot and relate to the first one. I don't want season 3 (i don't even think it's gonna happen) but if it does im more than glad to take it lol.
