I hate when people say "Oh junsung is faking everything he cant be in love in only 3 days" like literally why…
You can totally like someone that you have spent 4 full days with, even sleeping in the same room. It's like they had x10 dates, some people will need months to be as close and have as much quality time as this oportunity provides.
SW is acting like a pick me boy and i will restrain myself to say worse but, how can you tell SH that "a relationship is between two " and kinda put him in that situation of you should focus only on me when you go around the house telling to every moving entity that he is not your type, you aren't even sure if you like him as a partner and you wanna date others and see? He is also being misleading with YH, telling him that he would still have a date with him and saying that he’d be sad if YH stopped liking him cause it’s a big encouragement? I call that playing with other's emotions.
Wait, i skkiped quite heavily the second half od the series but i swear i saw nothing about the second couple other than the "he is in Japan". How on earth they left THAT unresolved?
I don't know Aaron, is he a bad dude or a poser or something? I'm honestly feeling sad for him because everyone asummed he is x or y because of social media image, like we do with famous people, put them into boxes, and they already have a bias against him.
Seonwoo is clearly the type that tries to look perfect, to be liked by everyone, is afraid of someone seeing his down sides, his real self... that type can be tricky, you may fall for an illusion, and even think he likes you back but then turns out he did not, was just him being perfect. I think he has to work on those insecurities. And i think SungHo and JunSeong are a better fit.
From the trailer and the first two episodes my expectations went high and expected a mature, sweet and deep series. I thought it would be emotional, intense and with a CRAZY GREAT AND MEMORABLE PAY OFF. But then, just stupid bickering, now me, now you, sprinkled with more unrealistic miscommunication. From the underwhelming moment they meet again at the lobby, everything went downhill. Then all the stupid madness, the series being unable to make sense, ridiculous unrealistic adults... And the last episode is the nail in the coffin. Even the actors were not taking this series seriously at this point. WFT WITH THE STUPID 2 MINUTES PLANE MISSING!!!! And that "bed scene" was bad, BAD. Bad choreographed, 0 emotions and weird kisses and touches. Imagine after all those years of unfulfilled love... Had me in tears haha.
This drama is seriously underrated - I guess that is because it's not an easy one to watch: it is slow and artistic,…
I'm totally with you here, well, not totally, i did have 0 compassion for the ex-lover, she went way to far and actually was at my top of characters i hated haha. Indeed, this type of dramas are not for everyone and the ending is way too dark, i guess that is hard to have a sense/aftertaste of satisfaction. I have to admit that, even if for me is a gem, i do wish they showed more of how they both felt that in love, the build up, just some flasbacks weren't enough for me. I wanted to feel the desperation, the intensity of their feellings at the beggining and see them explode, i'm a sucker for those building up intense forbidden loves and i crave to go with them for the ride till they have the pay off. And yes, enjoyed the crazy ending and last 3 episodes of madness, but man, the softy in me wanted them both alive and together at the end.
I’m from Ireland and I heard there was stuff in this about Ireland, is it worth watching just for that? I’m…
If Ireland is your main reason to watch it, you would be disappointed. Some characters spend their happiest time there, but it's just showcasing the beauty of a natural landscape but mostly the beauty of love, and it's mostly some flashbacks here and there. Then the series, is just the opposite of those days. Is dark is anxiety, insanity, every protagonist is a shit and sick human being... and the end is utter depression. It started slow and took a while to truly escalate and show all their colors, but the last 3/4 episodes were the best and i did enjoy it quite a lot (but the softy in me wanted a happier ending and a fiction were love, even if it was a forbidden one, won).
this comment section is just sad honestly. I will keep my words to myself.
I think that this is our tiny space to share our piece, honest emotions and mindset related to the series of topic. It would be nice to keep it a place where we don't judge others for having their opinion (positive, negative or indiferent) and writting a comment to be heard, interact, feel related... Not everything is sunshine and rainbows and we can also share sadness and dissapointment.
The one that thought that this was the best idea is either completely out of touch of what the audience desires or knows it really well but doesn't care about it and just wanted a lazy money catcher and we move. The fact that they went for a fake multiverse that we aren't invested in, one that confuses us and takes us out from the actual series and connection that we have with the characters that we saw develop for months in front of our eyes, the ones that we understand way more deeply and care about them and their future since we created an stronger attachment and bond with them as they were... I seriously feel like they take us for stupid kids that will eat whatever they put in our plate. Super dissapointed . Why most of it has to be fake, fantasy jokes, multiverse... just to avoid maturity? realism? growth? If they do this with A Tale of thousand stars i will faint haha. Is quite clear that what we want is to see how their stories developed after the happy ever after. For just 2 episodes we don't even need an spectacular plot, we just need to see them going forward, just plain ordinary life and we would be a million times happier than this.
My rant is over, Nadal announced retirement from tennis in 2024 and now this, i really needed to vent.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Why freaking GMMTV!!! They are afraid of being real i swear to god. Disney channel vives. The series was great for what it was and specially the characters, they made perfect sense and build an strong connection there. They have a gem and what they do with that? NONSENSE fake ass multiverse so they can make a joke of this. God forbid they make the characters grow, face life, mature and have a real relationship.
Same. I honestly don't feel any chemistry between them at all..
WTF why god why... this feels incestuous and like an adult taking advantage of a kid. Took me two weeks to finally find the courage and finish this damn series.
This has entered my top 10 even with it's flaws. Just when i thought BL world was dry and empty this masterpiece came to remind me that one never knows when a great one is coming. Deep, emotional, intense, sincere, realistic, with layers, pitiful humans. They explore people, real people, people with traumas, with difficulties in life, selfih, loving, afraid, egoistic, selfless, craving love, a place, a person that feels home, with whom you feel safe and can be yourselve. All we can do is try.
I'm dying over here

Good riddance.
