this comment section is just sad honestly. I will keep my words to myself.
I think that this is our tiny space to share our piece, honest emotions and mindset related to the series of topic. It would be nice to keep it a place where we don't judge others for having their opinion (positive, negative or indiferent) and writting a comment to be heard, interact, feel related... Not everything is sunshine and rainbows and we can also share sadness and dissapointment.
The one that thought that this was the best idea is either completely out of touch of what the audience desires or knows it really well but doesn't care about it and just wanted a lazy money catcher and we move. The fact that they went for a fake multiverse that we aren't invested in, one that confuses us and takes us out from the actual series and connection that we have with the characters that we saw develop for months in front of our eyes, the ones that we understand way more deeply and care about them and their future since we created an stronger attachment and bond with them as they were... I seriously feel like they take us for stupid kids that will eat whatever they put in our plate. Super dissapointed . Why most of it has to be fake, fantasy jokes, multiverse... just to avoid maturity? realism? growth? If they do this with A Tale of thousand stars i will faint haha. Is quite clear that what we want is to see how their stories developed after the happy ever after. For just 2 episodes we don't even need an spectacular plot, we just need to see them going forward, just plain ordinary life and we would be a million times happier than this.
My rant is over, Nadal announced retirement from tennis in 2024 and now this, i really needed to vent.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Why freaking GMMTV!!! They are afraid of being real i swear to god. Disney channel vives. The series was great for what it was and specially the characters, they made perfect sense and build an strong connection there. They have a gem and what they do with that? NONSENSE fake ass multiverse so they can make a joke of this. God forbid they make the characters grow, face life, mature and have a real relationship.
Same. I honestly don't feel any chemistry between them at all..
WTF why god why... this feels incestuous and like an adult taking advantage of a kid. Took me two weeks to finally find the courage and finish this damn series.
This has entered my top 10 even with it's flaws. Just when i thought BL world was dry and empty this masterpiece came to remind me that one never knows when a great one is coming. Deep, emotional, intense, sincere, realistic, with layers, pitiful humans. They explore people, real people, people with traumas, with difficulties in life, selfih, loving, afraid, egoistic, selfless, craving love, a place, a person that feels home, with whom you feel safe and can be yourselve. All we can do is try.
From the trailer and the first two episodes my expectations went really high and expected a mature, sweet and deep series. I thought it would be emotional, intense and with a CRAZY GREAT AND MEMORABLE PAY OFF. But then, just stupid bickering, now me, now you, sprinkled with more unrealistic miscommunication for 4 episodes (so far). From the underwhelming moment they meet again at the lobby, everything went downhill. And now the crazy one is me because i'm still here trusting that their love story will somehow get it together and have that pay off.
Im an avid watcher of kdrama and bls and i think this is an unexpectedly sweet one. The older guys acting is top…
Thanks for your insight! I have to say that in terms of acting kbl does quite a good job most of the times, my problem usually comes when some stories end up tip toeing the gay love while MAKING A GAY LOVE STORY. For example lately it happened with Individual circunstances, looked solid and ended up being bullshit after bullshit. Heart flutering is what this series should aim for, thanks to your comment i'm a bit more excited :)
Here trying to find comments of users i know to see if it's truly good or just another basic doing the bare minimun (gay but not too much) push for the bl coin, bait for kfans that fell for it. I'll eventually watch it anyway tho, but i'm sick of thinking i'm going to watch a great gay love story to end up eating a half cooked bait.
There's some character development, specially with Uea and his past trauma so you try to understand where he comes from and why he acts so bitchy and wrongs King not believing in him and beliteling his acts and emotions. But to a certain point it became super evident that he is continuously using King as a punching bag and throwing his baggage onto him, his frustrations, issues... Either open up so he can understand you better and be sorry for how you have treated him and truly ask for forgivness or leave the man get over you and work on yourself.
The FL is too much in this series. No backbone, no self-respect. Her low self-esteem is super triggering. The…
Oh hell no! The plot is interesting so i planned to download it and watch it on my plane trip tomorrow. But i just cannot with that stereotyped female lead that 90% of Jdramas have so if this is one of those... i don't wanna punch pillows and look insane on a plane.
I wanted a bit more impact since the story could be a lot more dramatic and have more weight with the love that consumes you but is hidden during your entire life. But they clearly wanna make it a bit more comedic and did not make us long for their reunion (that one being kind of random and simple for my liking) but it's their choice. I like it still, only that my wish was for it to be more melo and impactful. Let's see when the big secret is reveled, plese don't make it be just the "i saw him with a girl and snapped" pretty please.
Man this was BORING, dragged and cliché. A series that feels two steps backwards, like if we were back in 2018/19 bl times. How could i like Win so much at UWMA and be so done with him here? I saw 3 episodes and stopped for a month+. After retaking it, i have to fast forward or else I'll die.
I don't really enjoy their dynamic, that one where the top acts like a father. He is also his part time teacher, nutritionists, adviser... he is basically taking care of a toddler with tantrums. I hate that couple dynamic. Super pet peeve of mine. At one point i was, is he mad at Team again or just wanna fuck? I already cannot tell the difference.
What a drama queens, BOTH OF THEM. Really absurd how they are pulling and pushing, terrible during ep 11 till they confess to each other (as if it wasn't clear already you dramatic bitches), with crying stupidly while singing one after the other passing each others the guitar and bawling CRINGE OVER THE FUCKING ROOF.
One of the side couples Prince and the other guy is kind of cute, at least there's that.
Definitely one that's way better if you binge it. A lot of stupid mistakes, misunderstandings and lack of communication and expresing themselves that will make you furious. Some cute moments and stunning guys. Enjoyed the premise, the main plotline revolving their job and the acting was quite good for them to be two idols.
Overall: this is a classic Thai university BL. But they have already milked this out of proportions and they never even bother to bring a bit uniqueness to the table. The start had potential for two episodes, after that it was the same old thing exact same plots and ridiculousness for 10 episodes with 0 point. I hate this stupid needy baby bottom caricature with a pasion. They could have milked their start for 4 or 5 episodes and then put the 12 one and end it there, it would have been simple, but ok. Instead they milked 10 episodes of nothing basically for the bl coin.
People that gave this a 10 must be on crack or be the first series they have ever watch. I have my fare share of stupidity, even when something is bad i have to fast forward every episode and see it end. Maybe is to make sure it won't hunt me in my dreams. SAVE YOURSELF, there's million of better things even to kill time and put your mind in blank. 2/10
