You just have to see older bls to realize that most of them were into girls before and always tend to say the "i like girls but i like you too" to justify that they aren't gay or bi but my guy, you eat both so sorry to break it to you but you ain't heterosexual. I'm developing a serious pet peeve. This dinamic of one active in bed that the whole series acts like a dad taking care of a toddler who is the pasive in bed and truly acts like he is a little kid 90% of the time... It triggers me and it's ruining many series with potential.
That's how stereotypical japanese dramas work and why plenty get to my last nerve, they make characters and specially girl ones acting like they are 9. Feels weird, annoying and frustrating haha.
Not gonna lie, but I was getting a little bored watching this one for some reason.
I feel you haha, i was getting annoyed by the stereotipical made in Japan cringe fest 60% of the time, 20% thinking that they were somewhat cute and sweet but kids and 20% being bored.
Ok apparently i was so out of it that i wasn't aware that they will keep going and push a 3rd season WITH A TOTAL DIFFERENT CAST!? Do we realize that each season there has been shaddy issues and a whole new casting for the next one and then repeat? This novel is cursed.
Very metaphoric and theatrical. Loved the use of space as one of the main storytelling tools, sometimes even more of a protagonist than words itself. The first episodes while building up the characters, story and attraction were chef kiss but during the middle, when we have them alone and specially after their bedroom scene that lasted an episode (brilliant, but after that they set the bar high and I wanted them to rise it a bit more then and there), I felt like something was missing during 2 episodes or so, I wanted a bit more melo-romance, go all in with the love that you can't have emotions, not acts itself, I wanted them to crush my heart with stares, words and emotions a bit more there, to play it a bit further, to make me cry a river and struggle to breath, but my emotions were more rational and analytic witch is not bad but I wanted both, I wanted for this series to give me all. Then again, the ending was superb, just the perfect well rounded put together story with a bit more potential to explore and exploit. 8.5/10 Surely on my top 3 of this year so far.

Totally with you. I'm really cuestioning their motives to keep making "gay love stories" that show as little love and as little gay as possible. A million times the same absurd basic plotlines, stereotyped 4 types of characters over and over who act like they are 10... I need to start being selective or I'll just keep getting annoyed.
