Very sweet and the acting and scenary chef's kiss. I feel like we coud have a couple more episodes for the adult times, i would want more angst and longing from Kono and a bit more fireworks when they finally get together. The kissing was disapointing after all they went through but in general the chemi was there. Hayakawa was greatly portrayed and the crying was top tier. Overall good but the NY plot was not needed and the ending was a bit rushed. Would watch again for the longing parts but missed a bit of a pay off. 7.5/10
Why Asian drama playboys are exactly opposite to real life playboys??
Haha right? that's why we fall for them in real life, the infamous, he can change, he just has trauma i can be there for him and make it better... media selling us a fantasy
I feel like because it was filmed in reverse, the characters feel different. In the early episodes, they were…
Maybe that plays part on me feeling this way, yes. After getting together all the drama of the girl comming and going 3 times, going on an absurd loop with the ex boyfriend and saying things they don't mean and being misunderstood 10 times when it's clear by this point... doing all those over and over in detriment of showing more love and growth was a sad choice for me. I was glad that we moved to a maturing and making the relationship stronger after the death of his mom arc, but let's see.
Just saying... But the drama is based on a Novel which is more dramatic if am not mistaken, they followed the…
Each one their own, but to me this is dragging and making the same absurd conflict come again and again just to prolongate it, doesn't matter if it's just the series or the source material. Clearly others like it but to me is undeserving of being this high, like i said, my taste, my opinion. I don't hate it but i would rate this a 8 the first half and a 6 the the second one. So for now a 7, again, that's me.
My two cents: for me chinese dramas are good the first half and then most of them start digressing and going in circles with absurd conflicts and nonsense repetitive stuff to do the series 20+ episodes. Sorry to say that i have been feeling this way here as well and cannot believe that this is one of the bls with the best score on this site.
The chaos and comedy felt over the top. They ended up together after the 1 season and here they made no progress at all till the last second, always like that so they don't show love, intimacy... disappointing japan, stop joking and just milking the bl tag in half of your series
Not bad but it lacks a good pay off. They build a great love story, very deep and sincere. You expect that when they finally get together you will have a memorable scene with great connection and chemistry but they do not deliver it. And then they end this with 30 sec montage. It feels underwhelming and it happens a lot of times with japanese shows.
They are everything but please Akin needs to find a way to be more assertive and communicate better. If every time there's a problem to face he just says painful things to Jin and he has to figure it out what happened and find a way to solve it on his how in order to get back together... That is the grow i wish him to have in order to make it work long term 💖
Could you tell me about his best dramas and movies?
Sure! Depends of your taste, but 99% of us started with him either with the Gokusen series or SPECIALLY with the movie Koizora, Sky of Love. As for series/dramas that i like where he is a main lead: Thriller: Bloody Monday or Two weeks Psycological: Watashi wo Hanasanaide Melodrama/slice of life: Boku no Ita Jikan Romantic comedy: Last Cinderella
Very simple warm and cute. Japanese have this way of making the smallest and most trivial things tender, i just miss and feel like it lacks to deliver when things finally are supposed to explode. You cannot give me all this warm cozy love and expect me to feel like a dead fish kiss with a 5 second montage and THE END is a good pay off after all that.
this is a go girl give us nothing. I have seen the same uni bl from GMMTV a million times over 10+ years at this point. Is not that it's bad it's that it gives you nothing, they just pair cute guys to see if a new ship is profitable or give another take to one that it's trying to be profitable.
Btw of topic but years and years ago, during and after Mewgulf Boom was all over Mew ig and i sensed something by his comments... after Mewgulf ended officially they started to hang very frequently and Mew went to his house to pic him up and drove him back constantly... my radar said they had something for a while. After some time the Tul era started and my radar turned on again with his trips to visit him in the USA and their stories doing plans together like spas... my radar is quite good so just some food for thought over here haha
