Good premise, interesting, but lost me at some points towards the second half. The main theme is dark and we are talking about serious crimes and criminals, i just don't enjoy when GMMTV makes it all a bit of a joke and out of touch. Still an interesting story, new plot, unique story and good chemistry.
I'm sorry but i'm going to stop behaving for a sec Have you all seen Boss cakes? i have never been as into that thing but now i think i am... cannot stop looking hahaha
Romance only seemed to "lack" because it was a secondary aspect to the story.
True but still, if you are gonna make them fall in love, at least show it a bit better. That and a few plot holes are my only issues with this great and unique series.
I hate that too. Like what? I talk about top and bottoms but not to this extent. Like it comes to a point where…
I personally don't see the harm in talking about their sexual positions if they do show or hint them and things like that. Also, since it's a fictional character, can de part of their romance portrayed to us and we are not talking about the real person we know nothing about. For me people cross the line when they make it their entire personality or argue that if you look a certain way or have x or y personality traces you cannot have certain role in bed... things like that, i find them absurd and wrong prejudices.
Finally, someone who gets it! Top or bottom is merely a sexual position. Too bad so many BL writers and producers…
Hahaha right, their heads would explode! Another thing to add to their issues, lack of representation of versatile guys when they get into the bed department. If i'm not mistaken, Saint's character in Why r U? hinted the versatility, but they are very far in between (when that's not reality).

Exactly! I'm queer myself and see plenty of good things about BL, of course variety of stories and representations, the lovey-dovey disney like romance where lgbtq+ historically has been neglected (now the western world is opening to it with things like Love Simon or Heartstoppers)... But there are this huge things they need to work on, like break with stereotypes that translate certain personality traces to specific sexual roles or make full on adults act like 13yo when it comes to love.
People don't need to act or look a certain way to have an specific role in bed, their entire personality doesn't revolve around their bed preferences. They can both be top, vers, bottom whatever the f they are, make it work and be a lovable pair and don't need to follow stupid stereotypes.
What the fuck is wrong with people, i see comments about deciding by "looks" who can be a top or bottom, making a bed role as an entire personality... gross, disturbing. This is what gay guys hate to see when they see other people consume gay media.
I'm on the fence between this and Eien no Kinou (Eternal Yesterday). This was more complete overall but that series broke me. I felt like that truck hit me instead. The power of the main moral of that show made a dent i guess haha.
Very moving, thought provoking and emotional. Japanese know how to play with the strings of your heart in a special way, very intense, sincere, and profound, that's what I love about their media the most. My issue usually is the lack of emphasis and correlation of that emotional charge into their physical connection, it takes away from it and makes you step out of the feelings of that fantasy. Here it had a bit of that, but not until the point of ruining anything they built. Overall it was very endearing and enjoyed the entire process from beginning to end, never felt that they were making up plots for the sick of making a show. Felt sincere. Occasionally we get this introspective and full of meaning bl pieces that make us all have hope for the genre and be grateful that it exists and it's giving this massive, diverse and deep love stories to the gay community out there that has been neglected and robbed from having monumental love stories and for everyone else to enjoy them as well.
and why did you think you can only say to this particular ship??
It's not my problem if you cannot understand a sentence and try to make it a dish to one particular couple but i'll be nice and explain this. I said i don't want SHIPS to only work together, implying that this is my perspective for ALL OF THEM.
Unpopular opinion, i don't want ships to stick to each others and only work together, i want actors to be actors and challenge themselves with multiple partners
Started with a nice premise but then absurdity came, going in circles when they could go straight, nonsense of explaining everything serious to friends but not to the bf and person who really could make a diference, not making us see or understand how they catch feelings... I'm so tired of this sloppy bls... they are ruining the genre to me. I'm not here just to watch two cute guys kiss, i want a story, layers, cohesive plots and to feel the love and emotions.
