The start was promising but it went downhill.
The progress isn't well done, needs a better line of time and the characters act a bit nonsensical, specially the main couple. The bottom is like, well, if my man doesn't get in line, may as well enjoy my popularity with males. He does some hard to explain out of character and questionable things while the other is struggling with a lot on his plate. Like, Hello? his mom died and he has her cremated rests on his house, now empty withouth her.

I enjoyed the secondary couple the best, the band singers.
The scene where they first meet (ep. 1), where one falls in love for the other while seeing him busking and then he tries his best to make him enter into his top music school... is cute as hell.
I was disappointed with the slow and badly put together progress and sometimes is hard to see how the other guy starts liking this guy as a man rather than as a friend.
But they have some fluffy cute scenes, borderline bromance tho. Still, i am happy i saw them.

The third couple feels like a filler.

I saw friends making tik toks with a more convincing acting and plot, and that itself should warn you.

I knew this was bad before watching it, but i am the kind of person that watches even knowing it so i can say it sucks from my own judging. I like to watch bad movies as well, sometimes you can rant or laugh about it. Maybe you want as well.

The feels of old school Japan but more actual. Is basic, not very good. The long distance arc had a bit of meat, but felt dry.
Haruhisa's face reminds me of my belated love from Japan, our eternal Haruma Miura. That makes me a bit sad, miss him badly.
Happy endings from Japan are welcome. Don't expect too much.

I enjoy it, sometimes, but i don't know, i have been feeling that they could have done so much more with everything... I guess that i see way more potential than what actually was provided. When the trailers of 2021 came, i knew and expected ATOTS and that was beyond my already high expectations, setting the bar way higher. This series and Enchanté were the ones that i was hopping for the most and i just feel like, even if i enjoy many things from this show, overall i feel like we wasted a lot of time in useless stuff and never went deeper in others that would have elevated this. I am sad that there's just one episode left, but more because of that reason rather than the ending itself.

Since it's just a tiny glance and we have been played before even with the big trailers... But for me it does. Oh is like, i will move on and love myself and then the next scene is him working 3 years later and someone asking him to take care of Teh for a sec. His face looks like they haven't seen each others in person for a long run. But even so that doesn't disregard the part of your theory about him not deleting the pics, and maybe Oh will know later on... or maybe another big gestures idk. But I truly wish they can give a leson of how we can forgive and rebuild a relationship in real life, as probably many of us have experiece with.

Hopefully! Yes, i sense that we will get the Teh of the selfless big gestures of love.
The face Oh puts on ep 5 trailer when they meet years later... is a "i am so not over you and pains me" kind of face.

We are on the same page.
This show tugs with your emotions in every way possible mainly due to how real it is.
Teh was at a point where he was lost, strugling, and as he often does, he bottles up things when he should say it and ask for help when he is clearly at his weakest point. When he found a perfect source for his lost he clung himself to it. Jai was his passion, his dreams... but i believe that Oh is still his love. And in no shape or form i think that he had everything figured out with his emotions or that he thought about breaking with Oh, but it was the best for them as of that point.
I am not really sure how are they gonna repair the things that are broken and gone, but i really want them to do it as well. I think that there is something greather than anything else that ties them together. This may sound really Disney and dream like but i no longer care haha, i will dream then.

And in the end,
we were all just humans,
drunk on the idea
that love,

could heal our brokenness.

It has it's flaws, but somewhat i am not mad about it yet.
In some ways their relationship reminds me of 2gether the series, but at least this two are going further than bromance vibes and only half episodes in (yes, i am still not over the infamous high five).

BL world needs more of this couples that have their eyes spark the love, Pupa x Tian as a 2021 text book example. Hopefully the production is noticing that we are living for those two together.

Brutally honest, this one feels like a middle school play compared to the MASTERPIECE that it is He's Coming to me. And let's not start with that one having 2 of the best ACTORS that have ever acted on BL land.

Oh don't worry, i just like to go deep into characters and try to understand them but i won't take it to hearth, i like to debate and it's normal to have different POV. I just don't think that it is the same thing and i don't see Teh as that. Maybe since i had a similar thing after a 4 year relationship i can be biassed with my own perspective, it's ok, we are all humans. :)

I am so glad to read comments like this. Thanks for your mature and well thought piece of mind. Life and emotions are way more complicated than right or wrong, black and white, yes or no. A lot of thoughts and consideration are needed.

And doing something wrong doesn't invalidate everything else you are. Just saying.
Imagine if you hurt a friend, a lover, a family member... one mistake is a mistake, is wrong, can or cannot be forgiven and overcome, but that doesn't mean that your entire life and persona should be condemned for that. If it would be the case, we all would be villians already.

I never said that he did not cheat, what i am trying to convey is that it doesn't mean that he doesn't love Oh. And sadly, yes, you can have a partner and catch fellings for someone else, that's actually a common issue specially in long term couples, saw it from the outside and happened in mine, a 4 years old relationship as well. The important thing is that there can be different kind of emotions and reasons involved, and then again, only the people involved, knowing everything from the inside, kknowing your hearts and have been living that love can actually think and talk about it and see for themselves how they want to move forward and if there's a way or not to still be a couple.

Humans are more complicated than that. I hope you always make everthing right, never are confussed and have no clue what you feel how you feel and what to do, hope you are never struggling.
In terms of the couple, of course that's a matter of how the characters feel and deal with stuff now, like real couples do after shit happens. but my point was made about people just focusing on that and hatting the characters and the show just for that reason.

Nobody is prepared to be hearth broken. No matter if you did right or wrong. Still, for me that doesn't make me forget the entire person that he is overall.
