A Tale of a 1000 stars is a huge shadow to cover but this show is growing on me. Sometimes i wish they toned down the over the top comedic scenes because they tend to make the acting worse and take me out from the moment, specially when they break the 4 dimension and talk with the camera (us), it doesn't work well for me. But this ep was funnier and better, hope it keeps going on this direction and full of surprises as it looks like it will.

Oh i see, so she is bi or pan, thanks for telling me. But that's an stereotype, like ok, her personality matches with an stereotype of being gay, but again it doesn't need to be that way. If a guy is showing you that he likes you, i don't get why you must assume that he is joking just because he is more "feminine" than you. I am straight and have been dating a guy more feminine than me and he was only into girls. For me that's another thing that should be normalized in BL.

Indeed haha I went to Thailand in September 2018, witch is the end of the hot season, and it was around 40°c and as humid as it can get. 2 or 3 showers a day, sunglasses and a hat and various tubes of sunscreen where needed. They cannot fool me with that little to nothing amount LOL

This proves that Japan has more to offer than the old school bittersweet and poorly executed BL.
The sleeping in two futons scene got me through it. I was there, trying to be as quiet as i could, stopping my breath.
I wished the ending of this prequel had more deepness and soul, that's what lacked to most for me. It needed a bit more there, just 5 more minutes mom.

I would love a total happy endind with him back as human but thinking about it, i like it even more like this. I believe they wanted to convey that you never know how long your love is gonna last, what can happen the next day, he may no longer be there, but while you can, you should love with everything you have, deeply, madly, do whatever you can NOW, apreciate every second, you never know if there's a later.

Watched for 2 reasons:
1. BL
2. Witwisit back as a bl character (Love of Siam was my first Thai bl movie, 2006, very old school type but our classic that started it all).

Has some potential and the couple visually is quite an eye candy. The story is bad tho, your stereotypical gays that cheat, complicated gays, unsatisfying ending.

A porn movie with a bit of plot around there. Literally. Graphic, very.
They aren't hot for my standards so even that felt short to me LOL

Patiently waiting till it's over to start watching it haha.
If it's bad, i'll skip over and enjoy the train wreck anyways.

I really enjoy that some of the plotlines are quite unique on bl land. The only thing that i am not 100% sold is that there are many scenes and plots that could be cut down and instead put more meat where it should be.

Still, not gonna lie, if the product placement is made with scenes like the rubbing invisible sunscreen all over their arms, or calming gel on their hands while connecting with their eyes... I am here for those extra eye candy ones haha

Indeed, and i am hatting that. With that reasoning she should be gay as well. Like, i expected more from her, at least to test the waters, he is clearly showing her what's up. She breaks stereotypes and is a bomb as girl who can do "manlier stuff" (more like stereotypically thought as manly), she must know better than anyone that sexuality doesn't work that way :(

Have to agree, this and A tale of a 1000 stars are my faves from GMMTV. Most of the time, even if they have great production value and the photograpy is very high quality, the stories lack and feels like it's just a matter of cute actors hinting bl, like if that's the only thing they think we want.

I agree with all the answers but i wanna recommed something else. It's definitely not realistic, but an stunning slice of life, very full of meaning, and with this series my two faves from GMMTV ever. It's called He's coming to me, Singto and Ohm are the leads, probably among the best actors from this company.
The story feels strong, there's weight, deepness, each episode provides more and more insight, and how the love story develops is just... quite similar to here, with the smalles details, an slow burn love that's told with the eyes, with the hands... mesmerizingly stunning. Worth every single second.
There are some scenes there that alone could outweight plenty of full BL series.

MDL probably checked with them as well.
The series was supposed to be 8 at the beginning but idk what exactly changed their minds.
Sad but let's hope is a great ending :)

I don't know how i ended here, but if this is another frigid, 0 personality, acts like a 12yo with 0 experience in anything and does whatever the male tells her to type of FL, i shall pass. I have a big issue with Japanese dramas and movies because of this, is the kind of woman you see 90% of the time and it ruins it every time.
