Wait, is this another body swapping type of bl but technically not bl? And most importantly, are we going to see Tori kiss a guy? or it's kinda platonic?
I really enjoy that some of the plotlines are quite unique on bl land. The only thing that i am not 100% sold is that there are many scenes and plots that could be cut down and instead put more meat where it should be.
Still, not gonna lie, if the product placement is made with scenes like the rubbing invisible sunscreen all over their arms, or calming gel on their hands while connecting with their eyes... I am here for those extra eye candy ones haha
Prejudice. Tum can make up, he afraid when Tiffy drive sport motorcycle and he can't fix his own car. Tiffy can…
Indeed, and i am hatting that. With that reasoning she should be gay as well. Like, i expected more from her, at least to test the waters, he is clearly showing her what's up. She breaks stereotypes and is a bomb as girl who can do "manlier stuff" (more like stereotypically thought as manly), she must know better than anyone that sexuality doesn't work that way :(
If GMMTV will focus on making series like this, we'll be besties. However, they kept on making trash like 2g----…
Have to agree, this and A tale of a 1000 stars are my faves from GMMTV. Most of the time, even if they have great production value and the photograpy is very high quality, the stories lack and feels like it's just a matter of cute actors hinting bl, like if that's the only thing they think we want.
I agree with all the answers but i wanna recommed something else. It's definitely not realistic, but an stunning slice of life, very full of meaning, and with this series my two faves from GMMTV ever. It's called He's coming to me, Singto and Ohm are the leads, probably among the best actors from this company. The story feels strong, there's weight, deepness, each episode provides more and more insight, and how the love story develops is just... quite similar to here, with the smalles details, an slow burn love that's told with the eyes, with the hands... mesmerizingly stunning. Worth every single second. There are some scenes there that alone could outweight plenty of full BL series.
MDL probably checked with them as well. The series was supposed to be 8 at the beginning but idk what exactly changed their minds. Sad but let's hope is a great ending :)
I don't know how i ended here, but if this is another frigid, 0 personality, acts like a 12yo with 0 experience in anything and does whatever the male tells her to type of FL, i shall pass. I have a big issue with Japanese dramas and movies because of this, is the kind of woman you see 90% of the time and it ruins it every time.
No, you hit it on the nail, that´s the main problem with them. They have opposing values, and while the values…
I agree with you guys, for me it was sweet to give them a 2 chance to keep going, because i understood that they are madly in love, but it's more like, let's cross that bridge later on. So yes, i don't see it as a happy ever after ending, more like let's see how it goes and if someone has to sacrifice and adjust or we end up splitting later on. A 2 season would have been nice.
THANK GOD!!! I am not confident i could endure another week withouth knowing that Sky is awake and fine. The scene…
Also, i have warmed up to Chris and Jeno love story, it was just ok but this episode leveled up the game, it was hella cute. Their story here is way more developed than in TharnType, liked their characters there but they were just a comedic distraction, here they have deepness.
THANK GOD!!! I am not confident i could endure another week withouth knowing that Sky is awake and fine. The scene when he wakes up was beautiful, everything was said, with their eyes, their hands... They have chemistry, for sure.
I hope he does another BL soon I miss him in that kind of role.
Same here! I`ll support him regardless but it would be brilliant. I love how he isn't afraid to explore: gay, straight, transexual, romance, horror, commedy, slice of life... he did it all. I ship him even with a rock, but one of my top ones is with Mew, they could be the ultimate death of me.
Why does everyone seem to hate this drama so much-
Is more like disappointment. This had so much potential... But felt short. Also, if you have been a BL fan for a long time, we had to go through plenty of bromance like things to undercover the gays, series that have been banned, fake kisses and disgusted faces when they do so... Overall productions that felt weird, actors that hate it there... was bad. So nowadays that the industry is evolving for the better, we do not tolerate well this things, we want good stories, commited actors and good productions.
This is the first time in my life that i cry my eyes out for a ball of rice.
The stories of both couples feel deep, interesting, with layers, just how it should be. Every character is well built, have their background and you connect with them, see them overcome issues and grow their love. Fantastic acting.
I am on the shortest side, the one that loved the ending (be warned, ep 10). The acting at the end is just... outstanding. The way those emotions are portrayed it just breaks you into million pieces. Is not often when you see this kind of pain and absolute devastation without an ending redemption, a glance of hope. There's none, there's no way. I am in love with how such an inner core sadness was projected and we were able to taste it in all her glory. Is devastating but totally profound. This is the truth and realism of that kind of feelings, if you experienced that before, you know this was you, this will always be you.
Again, the production, photography, color coordinated palette... mesmerizing. Visually is a top tier production.
This extra episodes felt like someone shows you a great cake, with all the flavors that you like, visually amazing, you are already salivating... but when you actually eat it the after taste is bitter. The series has a kinda good kinda content ending, kinda, but this extras end on a sad note. It felt like they left it sad but open to improve, the problem is that there was never a 2 season so... it ended there, sad.
Some would have preferred to leave it as it ends in the series, but here are some eye candy, cute, fluffy and sexy moments so... it delivered there.

ONE OF THE BEST OST.
The acting is good enough, some better than others, all of them absurdly handsome. The plot is interesting. It felt off a bit during the last part, the resolution of conflicts. Unsatisfying ending but better than the extra episodes one. Loved the artistic direction, it could have been IT, but they stopped escalating a couple of miles before getting to the top. The sexual chemistry and physical connection won't disappoint you.
PS: Pin Jun, i am a woman, but if that's ok with you slide on my dms haha
Welcome to old school Japan. I would suggest that, if its made the last 3 years you stand a fare chance, if not... 90% will go for the unhappy or unsatisfying road at the end. Our gays cannot be totally happy. Still, thanks for providing when we had nothing much out there.
For the time, this movie wasn't as bad as the majority. The piano story is interesting enough.
Sex is sex, can be with or without love, but friends... You should appreciate those and be kind to their feelings.
Has some ups and downs.
I seriously find it amazing how clearly i remember some of this movies i saw a decade ago while i was in high school. How i ended up in college will always remain a mistery.

While we wait for the finale next Monday, this is the song Paper and Sky danced to on ep 3 :)
"Let's just wait until the day our hearts are ready to love each other..."
