The biggest problem with all of your analysis (and many others) is that just because someone likes the story does not mean she / he / she wants that in his / her real life. I consider myself as feminist, but I also love this story and I can separate fiction from reality and In my real life I would never date a guy like Dao Ming Yes, but it is fiction and everything is possible in fiction. We need to understand for example, that in reality, a guy like Dao Ming is totally jerk and he would never change his ways because of a girl. Of course we could always discuss how this kind of plot is problematic, but the truth is as long as people can distinguish fiction from reality I think this kind of story is not bad (and even a lesson can be used)

I do not understand why so many people hates this version, I love all the changes they made for this drama. But I am kind of nervous because I did not like the ending of the drama this version was based on. I hope they change the final episode and do something more like Hana Yori Dango.

I liked this drama more than I expected. But the greatest problem is the cast and some things were kind of rushed. But I do not think that I would criticize so much if I had not seen another lakorn better than this one.
