I'm really liking this lakorn so far. I was already interested because of the synopsis and the main cast. But I'm really impressed by the first episodes and the chemistry between the main leads. They fit a lot to their characters. Especially Kao. I would say Mark is not that surprising because he does look good in this type of character, but Kao is doing an amazing job. She is the only actress who can play an innocent girl and at the same time rebellious and still look good. I wonder how faithful to the book this drama will be. It seems to me that they already changed some things (of course the main story is the same, but some things seems to go in another direction from the book).
I'm very excited for the time skip, I really want to see Paeng redemption and how Arthit is going to fall in love with her and chases her. I think it will be the best part of the lakorn. I also wonder if they will make more romantic scenes between the main characters because that would definitely be a plus. Especially considering that in the novel they rushed a lot them and I think it could have more development between them. Anyway, this drama has 19 episodes and for what it seems, it looks like we are going to see the time skip at the end of episode 5 or in the beginning of 6. So we have a total amount of 14 episodes just for the 6 years late. It's enough time to develop their romance.
After watching her with Pop in Khun Mae Suam Roy, I thought Pon looked very childish for her. I don´t know, whenever I see them together it doesn´t look like a couple, but instead a brother-sister relationship. I like her better when she is acting with more matured guys.
I still don´t understand how this drama got so popular. Yes, they do have good productions and ost. I also think the actors are very great. But I didn´t like it at all the main couple. Because I didn´t see any chemistry between them. Bua seemed to be a very mature girl, and Pon looked very childish. Sometimes this can be good. But I don´t know why in this lakorn I was imagining them as brother and sister, not lovers. And I couldn´t understand why Kiew liked Peat in the first place. I also prefer the second guy story.
Probably there will be a condition where the main lead does not need to have babies or maybe they will end up…
That also could be a possibility. But I do not know, I hope they can have a plot where they have a baby before the end of the show. It's very uncommon to have babies through the story. Usually, the baby just comes at the end of the drama or a miscarriage happens.
What I don't get is how they plan to get around the "have an heir" part of the grandfather's will... I mean, no…
Probably there will be a condition where the main lead does not need to have babies or maybe they will end up with a baby. I hope at some point she gets pregnant and them have some misunderstanding or something to make more plot hahaha
I love HYD and the japanese series is one of my favorite versions of the comic- but i didn’t like the first…
Yeah, I do not like it either, but at least they made a better ending and they handled the amnesia plot better than MG II. I really do not want the final episode as Meteor Garden II (I think MG II was a mistake) if they end up in MG it would be more likeable. And I think if the drama is good, but the final episode is bad, I always feel like I lost my time seeing it.
I just finished ep 8 and I had the biggest revelation. From reading comments I know that most people love Si the…
The biggest problem with all of your analysis (and many others) is that just because someone likes the story does not mean she / he / she wants that in his / her real life. I consider myself as feminist, but I also love this story and I can separate fiction from reality and In my real life I would never date a guy like Dao Ming Yes, but it is fiction and everything is possible in fiction. We need to understand for example, that in reality, a guy like Dao Ming is totally jerk and he would never change his ways because of a girl. Of course we could always discuss how this kind of plot is problematic, but the truth is as long as people can distinguish fiction from reality I think this kind of story is not bad (and even a lesson can be used)
I do not understand why so many people hates this version, I love all the changes they made for this drama. But I am kind of nervous because I did not like the ending of the drama this version was based on. I hope they change the final episode and do something more like Hana Yori Dango.
I liked this drama more than I expected. But the greatest problem is the cast and some things were kind of rushed. But I do not think that I would criticize so much if I had not seen another lakorn better than this one.
