I was wondering why I'm liking so much this drama. I mean, I knew I would be very addicted to it, but if they follow all the script it has the potential to be in my top 10 (which is very hard for someone who had already watched 226 dramas). And now I get, aside from everything I was expecting this couple also reminded me a lot the couple from The King 2 Hearts (which is my favorite drama ever). Although MC does not start as an idiot (like in TK2H), his behavior with FMC is exactly like MC from TK2H were after they were together. That vibe where we can face everything together. It is so great!!
I hope this drama goes well until the end because it's been a long time since I'm looking for an actual good enough drama (last time it was 2024 where we had at least 4 good dramas)
I liked the drama overall, it reminded me Bridgertons. I just wished third sister love story was more developed as well as fifth sister.
Also, I loved fourth couple.
Does anyone know similar dramas where we have the exact same vibe as this? The "Bridgerton" environment where we have multiple couples, light drama and a nice family...
If not, I liked the Fourth and Fifth couple, so I wish I could see something similar. Fifth couple reminded me Hana Yori Dango couple and it's been a while that I've seen this type couple in a really haters to love environment (where you really have a reason to hate the MC in the beginning and turn to love him as time goes on)
The story started well, but got a little garbage once the second lead shows up. Also the end was rushed. I feel they could have went better without the ex plot.

Their dynamic reminds me In time with you, 9 ends 2 out, and Reply 1997. These 3 are really interesting because not only they were friends from young age, their families were friends with each other. But you also have the feeling that no matter what, they will be always together (as a lovers or not)
I decided to comment after seeing so many people thinking it is going to have a sad ending or such.
Honestly, I think you all are crazy to have that thought in mind. Dont get me wrong, it can have some angst in it. But from the looks of first episode it looks like a happy romcom. I don't even picture us having that much of angst like QOT, for example. Let alone sad ending.
But anyway, i will wait until the end to see how it plays. From my experience watching kdramas since 2008, it doesn't seem like a sad end.
From the look of it. I can tell there is something fishy coming from dad and his right man.
I will give my 2 cents for this:
1) Father is a stooge. The real "competent and corrupt one" is the right hand guy. I dont think he knows the deepness of what he is involved with. But for a happy ending, he will need to.
2) father and right hand were involved in the death of the landlord.
Is not a bittsweet ennding, but at the same it was a type of ending that you would wish wasn't so "real". I get that people die at some point, I get they did have a happy ever after. However, author could give us more scenes of the couple together and not only throwing "reality" on it. I feel like we can't complain, but at the same it isn't satisfying enough for those who were here for the romcon part as well.
Overall, I will give my 9.0 to this drama. It was a great drama, but not one you would pick if you are searching for romcom at all.
