They do end up together, altough it is not very clear the romantic relationship. I would say it is a happy ending, altough not very fullfilling in the romance part

It has romance during most of the show, but there isn't many romantic moments. Altough their relationship is always changing, so it is funny to watch. If you only like shows focus on romance, this is not one... but if you like shows with other topics, that also have romance, than this is a great one!
