At the end of ep 16, we finally got to see a little of the Princess's weak side, and now that her father is gone, she's afraid of what will happen. And I have a feeling now that she didn't send Gil Chae away because she wanted to separate her from Jang Hyun, but what if she wanted to protect the person Jang Hyun loves the most? She has a point of saying that anything can happen to the released slaves who stay there, especially who knows what will happen now that her father died.

The Princess's character was interesting until she became obsessed with Jang Hyun. Now she seems really one-dimensonal with this "Jang Hyun will be mine no matter what" trope. She's just annoying and I hate her.
And I finished ep 15 :) There were indeed sweet moments. Jang Hyun pretending to be really sick while Gil Chae and Ryang Eum fighting over him was funny :D Also I think Jong Jong and Gu Jam are really sweet together :)
I am really in love with this drama. But I don't know what to think of this second part. The first part had good dynamics, and I really loved the two main leads' relationship where they would tease each other every time they met. The story was more at a balance than in the second half. I've just finished ep 14, but I'm getting a little tired of the two main leads always crying, Gil Chae getting dragged here and there while being in danger and Jang Hyun trying to save her but everything just keeps tearing them apart from each other. And I'm also afraid of the end that the writers would get to that trope where one of them dies and they'd never be happy together, just like we've seen in a lot of other sad romance dramas. I just want them to have a really happy ending and I'll be so mad if I can't see that happen T_T

I agree. Also Lee Joon Gi is one of my favourite actors, so I'm eager to see him in this drama. I'll just wait until all the episodes are aired, so I can binge-watch it.
I was drawn into this fandom thanks to this drama. I've watched it 2 times already and planning to watch it a third time, I've read the books and want to read them again, and I'm currently watching the Ultimate Note the second time. I've became so addicted to this story that I've even bought an e-book reader just that I could read the remaining fan-translated books on it.
Also I think they created a good plot for this drama, despite the fact that the Reunion book was such a mess. I liked this drama's story more than the book's storyline.
They ran out of ideas ages ago. So many dramas these days are repetitive and hackneyed and completely predictable.
Yeah it's true. During the pandemic I could even finish 3-4 kdramas in a single week (yeah I was an addict). But now, there's only a few I'm following. I'm getting tired of watching the same plot over and over again with just different actors, and that the main leads always have the same sad backstory.
Is it the typical law drama where the ML or their family got wronged, so ML became a lawyer to fight against corruption and he wants to get down someone with great power whom is loved by everyone? :D Or is it something new? I don't know if I should start it.

I think sex scenes in most dramas or movies (even in American movies/series) aren't necessary, they're just randomly dropped there, and in most cases it doesn't add anything to the story (but there are exceptions, like you mentioned One ordinary day). It is also weird when you watch something where there're two characters, who doesn't show any affection toward each other at all, and out of nothing they just start having sex. I'm not talking about Money heist, but I saw examples for that.
I personally don't like sex scenes, especially when the plot can function without one. I'm here for the story, not for the sex, if I'd like to watch that, I'd go to another site. Also it can be inconvenient to watch. I watch dramas and movies on my computer, so everybody who walks behind me can take a peer at my screen...
A lot of people says that it's not good, boring, etc... I watched this more than a year ago, but this is my favourite chinese drama! I loved it so much. I didn't find it boring, loved the characters, the plot, and everything in it. Although I didn't read the books. I tried to watch the Ultimate note, since everybody said it's better, but I dropped it. I didn't like the main cast, the happennings were too fast, I wasn't hooked up at all. But the Sound of the providence will always be one of my favourite :)
I didn't even finish Descentants of the Sun. I tried to like it, but I really couldn't. I didn't like the female lead, not to mention the storyline, it felt everything happened but at the same time nothing really happened at all. There wasn't a proper storyline, jut things happened and got solved and this repeated itself until the end of the show.
