I watched this without eng sub, (I can understand lil bit of Korean so I could understand the story to some extent), trust me this drama is one of the best-ever dramas made in Korea. I wish they made content like this often now. Han Suk-kyu and Kim Hee-ae, are soooooo damn good. Please I wanna see them again in a new melo drama or a movie.
This movie had me on the edge of my seat.. . loved it so much. I am in awe of the 2 great actors who did a Melo movie "Christmas in August" together and gave us this another brilliant piece of work. Splendid.
Christmas in August is probably one of the most incredible Korean movies, ever made. (apart from Shiri, which stars HSK too) this will forever be on my top 5 movies list (globally). Han Suk-kyu and Shim Eun Ha were truly beyond words, I have never cried so much for a movie before. I am so much happy to know how much people adore this gem in Korea. I really wish HSK and SEH reunite for another masterpiece.
What an incredible story, a genuinely well-crafted movie. Brilliant pacing and acting. Way ahead of its time in terms of subject matter and story structure. I'm sure this one will still be referred to as visually better than most films even years down the road, too.
Nice series, Lee Young Ae, and Kim Hye Joon's performances were worth watching. The start of the series I felt was a bit slow, but after 2nd episode, I was hooked. All and all, an interesting series.
“Why did you leave so quickly, I finally felt like we were connecting..” This line among many other beautiful lines was sooooo deep, left me with a lump in my throat... I swear I’ve never cried so much for a drama before 😣 Recipe For Farewell is undoubtedly one of the best healing dramas. ❤️🩹🤧It’s sad and melancholy, yet beautiful. 🥹🤧❤️ This drama has left me speechless. I calm myself telling it’s just a drama, but the fact that it’s based on a true story breaks my heart. Kudos to HSK and KSH for bringing out the characters so well. Recipe for farewell is for sure gonna be a memorable drama for years.
I’ve always been a fan of HSK, and Christmas In August has always been my favorite work of Han Suk-kyu, but RFF is gonna be the most memorable one for me ❤️
This series is beautiful in every sense of the world 🥹❤️ Apart from HSK and KSH, every character has beautifully played their roles. And every character has their own importance…I genuinely loved Da Jung’s Sister Da Sol & how rationally she is handling the situation. And Yang Su-won (Oasis Supermarket) I simply love his conversation and scenes with Chang-wook…he really brightens up the mood🤗 I have honestly never enjoyed a drama this much before..this will be a memorable one, for sure 🤧❤️ Han Suk-kyu should do more soft roles, he is so amazing in this series. Loved him in Christmas in August 🥹❤️
Episode 7& 8, were truly amazing, Ep8 was bang-on, I had never laughed so much during this series until this episode. 😄 Their flashback scenes were a bit sad though... Oh and I absolutely love the Vang Gog’s “Bedroom In Arles” painting reference here..amazing! Han Suk-kyu’s performance was truly beyond words❤️... phenomenal actor 🙌🏼
