As much as i liked the visuals, it doesn't outweigh the negativity and rage i got from watching just two eps...
Do know dramas are fictional stories, but this one has too many illogical flaws, right from the start. Eg FL can incredibly and casually strolled across his path of location shooting while his fans couldn't even go past the barricades!
Another incredible thing and out of this world is FL's generosity & her immediate forgiveness regardless of the number of times her so-called bestie betrayed her trust, sold her father's house and even blackmailed her! This is utterly insane!
This storyline is way off and shouldn't even be considered a Chinese version of Full House. I don't remember Rain portraying himself like the Chinese ML, a self centered narcissistic MCP.
he swayed when da eun confessed to him, so much that he even had to move houses away from her
Bottomline is her sarang is still not too deep into it, and so can pack & go once she decided to go. It's her self-care instinct to prevent future hurt.
She patched with YBB because she gave in to her loneliness after the breakup. But when she saw YDE's incoming call plus YBB's 1wk stunt, that seeded the final break.
Stopped at #18 and somehow there's no pull to resume from #19, not even after watching the last 2 eps. After reading the earlier comments, i didn't miss much. Though there is admiration and attraction towards each other, i didn't feel much romance from CP. Other than lacking skinship, FL supposedly street-smart and brilliant but with inferiority complex, can so easily distrust her righteous man and think the worst from him, even though he had emphasized to her that she can't be seen as his Achilles Heel, thus endangering her. It's a period drama with modern day outlook. As one viewer commented, other than Tea and Pipa, what else to fill the 40 long parter. To me, the forgettable finale was disappointing. Why hold a wedding sendoff for San Niang and not a grand wedding ceremony for FL....
get married with Ba Bi? Is he serious? He couldn't even tell her about that accident and I'm sorry but there's…
yup, he's definitely PBS and disloyal. While KYM was trying to make the reunion work, he's simply having 2nd thoughts. His intention was quite clear. The overseas trip was used as a valid reason to be away from her but, unfortunately, that fell through because of the accident. A truly beloved wouldn't have behaved so coldly as to not spend one last night together before going to a far off land.. Or do the usual hugs/kisses before takeoff...
Can't remember why his fiancee/ girlfriend left him in S1, but this YBB aint good husband material, at least not for me.
BABI-YA - _-I don't trust homeboy one bit...I know he hasn't done much to Yumi but he's he can be dishonest at…
Yup, feel likewise. Didn't like YBB right from S1. Felt he was hitting on KYM right in front of KW when she was still dating KW. YBB always behaved gallantly towards female acquaintances and don't draw the line when he's already attached. Besides too easily swayed, he's now being immature in his decision making - rushing into marriage when they still have underlying issues...
Last week, I was screaming for joy when KW resurfaced in that clean cut look and Control Z pulling his stunts to get them back 2gether. Unfortunately, we know there's a 3rd one in the coming...
saw a lot of questions on how's the romance in this series- the short answer is a Slow-burn. we're at episode…
for me, it's quite well paced. I'd rather have this than those that started off so well but split up in the middle forcing us viewers to watch another 20 over episodes before CP got back together only in the finale but for less than 10min!
Yup, he's attracted to her right from the start while she's becoming interested in him little by little... Her interactions with him may be brief but impactful, eg drawing out the arrow at the mountain cabin... him saving her from the assault at the mountain"
Though i couldn't stand the mom's harshness, the funny moments provided by his clueless leftie and her witty replies to her attackers help brushed off those angsty frustrations.
In the official trailer, there's this part he ran amok killing and CSS was crying away. What's happening there?LBY…
thank you SpicyLime. Thanks so very much! Don't know about others, but this production is really fascinating for me. i love wuxia WRTW but this is even better! LWL is so dashing in his lean and mean profile and the director made him look so good an his horse rides, and even more so in his modern contemporary look during their promotion activity for this drama! So I wanted to know in advance to prep myself in case it's a TE & not HEA. Cheers!
