i don't exactly know which dynasty it was that an army of Eunuchs staged the rebellion but there was one such historical rebellion. So, it's not surprising that this drama included the eunuch rebels. In fact, many palace court dramas had plots based on them.

Well, i guess this live adaption is not aligned totally to the novel. Besides not knowing what were those cut scenes, if the writer wanted to make SZ as the mole, I believe his bad part would have been retained.

Anyway, this drama included a little part of Eunuch rebels, so it's not just one Eunuch but an army of Eunuchs.

Shaozi is not the mole but FJM's most trusted righthand man, and now is also Haishi's most trusted man. It was Shaozi's spy who found out Suolan has captured Tilan and imprisoned her in JC's abandoned palace. I would assume Shaozi was busy fighting off other Eunuchs & rebels in another part of Tianqi.

As for Haishi still wanting to be uptodate on Palace development, besides knowing that FJM is still very concerned for the emperor, it's also woman's intuition sensing (she did mention before) something is amiss...

there is no final showdown between FJM and Shaozi cos Shaozi is FJM's most trusted righthand man, and now Haishi's most trusted man. There is no mole inside Fang's clan. The moles who have been spying and reporting to Suolan is the rebel group led by Eunuch Shi Lin plus Tilan's personal maid.

Agreed. Overall, WC is not as engaging and captivating as the previous MLs with YM. Didn't feel a thing at all from the CP. Shed tears one time and it's only for the emperor. As for the dialogue, at least 20% of the subs weren't quite right...

Yup, well written. Can't understand why anyone would be in defense for the manipulator while blaming the two innocent lovebirds who don't know how, when and what love is all about. The manipulator is too confident of herself that HER target will like her back and won't take no for an answer!

Agreed. XQ is a fake right from the very start. She approached ML with the sole motive of winning him over as her BF & skating partner for gold. She knew he will not accept her as pair partner if she is interested in him. In fact, she already sensed SBS' feelings for SZY but she's still trying all means to prevent the CP from getting together. So, she approached SZY with her sweet angelic concern and fake friendship so as to spy on them and scheme against them whenever opportunity rises.

Because her mind wondered far away and not focusing during their training, she caused the accident and his serious injury.

So, i'm bewildered by all the debates and frust you're going through!!!

i'm consoling myself that we are at #21 only. So, there are 12 more episodes and opportunities for XQ to create lots of misunderstanding and heartaches for the new couple.

Besides XQ & XH, don't forget the CP still have another big hurdle to clear - SZY's mom's anger/hatred for SBS' mom. SZY's mom claimed her bestie (SBS' mom) betrayed her, caused her serious injury and lost the fight/chance to win gold. So that's a big big hurdle to clear.

In #21, XQ hasn't given up yet and already working on another scheme to break up the couple to get SBS for herself. She's still not changing team/coach; and again doing things to create misunderstanding for the CP.

yes, General Tang was working hand in hand with Jichang. Jichang was surprised by Tang when he made special req to the Emperor for Tilan after reporting whatever matter JC wanted him to. Tang definitely is one of the baddies too.

Yup it's just my speculation and a wild wild guess. Can't help suspect the way the character is being portrayed, and who has the highest potential and power to scheme towards achieving divine goal whatever that might be ^__^
