sigh, when they officially announced they're an item in #16 and ep ended off with them happily running off hand in hand... i knew this plot will go into breaking mode very soon! it's only 16 and not even halfway mark yet. Still apart at #24!!!
sorry to bring this up again. In Ep.1, when ML first makes his entry in plot, i was thinking who is this good looking hero. Didn't have the slightest resemblance to DYX... But in Ep. 2, he immediately has that DYX look! This also happened to me in Melody of Golden Age. Wonder why! Am I the only one?!

probably not for the same reason. Put this on hold after ep.1 cos i couldn't stand FL's voice & most of all, her glaring eye makeup. She's the only one in the whole lot of female cast with such eye makeup. Why? So as to distinguish her to indicate she's the 1st FL?! Dropped this totally after taking a peek at Ep.40. Don't like storyline built on 2ML's obsession over FL (regardless of the reason behind his obsession), esp when villain is played by Ci Sha. I liked Ci Sha in Fengshen when he's not playing villain.
Chanced upon this Kshow in 2016 during Catgirl's 5th Win, but still wasn't quite interested in it until I heard HHW's Music Commander in Ep.43. Believed he could have had his 10th win but probably dropped off due to his upcoming concert, etc... So far, only one other mask singers had 9 wins. Have yet to watch his performance.

Agreed. For me, I can't do 1.5 or ffwd. Will have problem with listening to their dialogue or may miss tiny details if ffwd too much... So, i'm holding off for now!
pacing extremely slow for an action, mystery, thriller drama... Class acting from veteran cast, potential in newbies but not FL (subjective, so please don't bombard me!!!).

hmmm, for me, besides it being exciting, it has its funny and heartbreaking moments. Just a suggestion for a change. If Chinese anime is not your cuppa, then it won't help. Cheers!
Ep.18 Zheng Nan handled the scissors and hair in an awkward way! Thank goodness the hair volume of chubby kiddo is thick enough for her to snip it off in any which way!!!
Ep.17 is Cantonese that hard to learn?! I guess having five more tones make it a little bit more harder to grasp but to say numbers 0 to 9 correctly is not that tough!
