He's not wearing the same outfit in the first and last scene of episode 9. People should stop saying that. Yes, it's a suit and tie but a different trench coat. And also she's not wearing the couples ring like she always did before on the left hand at the mall. So I don't know about those "clues". I feel like that last scene is just to throw people off. Something like "they went their sperate ways". The hug and confession of missing her and regretting it should have been enough to convince people. I doesn't make sense to say all that, apologize and then not get back together.

I guess because people got confused about the constant time jumps and all out haziness of the last episode. They are probably used to a more linear storytelling with a clear happy ending. But if you carefully observe and consider all the signs it's pretty clear.

If they had shown a kiss after reconciling or that she spent the night before he goes to his final job interview the next morning it would have been too obvious. Telling someone they missed them and hugging is a strong indicator though. The camera also pans to the left side with the bed. I made my peace with it, even if nothing happened. He looked so tense and serious going out the door. They are together.

I think it's due to the fact, that they're her only female friends she made during her stay at the house. She was broken up with the ML, but was still checking old pictures of him and his DMs. And later they ran into each other and made up.

Not sure what you mean by the same cloths. Her outfit with the jeans top and hat we only see in the intro sequence riding the train and in the beginning of episode 9. He's wearing a different trench coat in the final scene in the mall, it's more beige and the collar is different than this greenish one you mean in episode 8 and 9 intros. So not sure that can count as a clue. What you can say though is, that on one promo picture we see them hugging in this particular outfits in the reed field (without her hat) and she's still wearing the ring. So they probably kept in touch regardless.

True, she was flawed and unstable in the beginning. She had anxiety and depression. Also the scandal with her mom that scammed people. A true low point in public opinion. When she came back as a soloist she focused on herself and her happiness and became a better person.

I don't think she was though. Maybe a bit arrogant and selfish at first because she didn't have much experience with romantic relationships and only had a crush on her narcissistic manager. She was at a low point mentally because of anxiety and depression. It was her fighting for love in the end and said they came this far already. But I don't think that it worked out, even though the ending was open and ambiguous. To me it seems they went their separate ways and she became a better person for it. But there is always the possibility of dating in secret or at least that they kept in touch, because they show him meeting her in business cloths at the beginning of episode 9. She's probably still waiting to be even more established in the industry? Who knows.

Did Won-Jun get that personalized autograph for him that was in his car suddenly? Maybe some kind of easter egg. Because his best friend is at a fan sign in the last episode all super shy and after a cut he has different cloths on and freaks out when he gets into his car one day and sees it. They never showed them all hang out together in the series though, just in the intro there is a scene at the beach.

In this video she is texting "he fell for me in the end" in the group chat when she described what she did in the series. But that could just mean in the first couple episodes, when he wasn't interested in a relationship.

I personally would call this open ended. Apparently most people want an escape from reality with a fairy tale ending or they are just braindead toxic fans.

Im still unsure about it even one day later. The last scene could also mean they went their separate ways in life, because they are walking in opposite directions. Also the voice-over in one episode speaking about how they are from totally different worlds. Hopefully the actors or the director will talk about it in the future.

I'm watching in Korean with English subtitles. But what's also confusing is, in that same scene she says she's all better now and "I'll never need a man in my life again." But then she makes him beg and they both they "I missed you." So in conclusion we probably can say, they are back together.

That's a good point. Maybe the meaning is different in Korean like you said. So they made up for real and tried again.

She just had a crush on her manager, but nothing happened between them imho since he knew her from a young age. Even later when she takes off with him at some point from her old house. I blame him for making her addicted to cigarettes though.

It's not actually the same outfit he wore. Sure, he's wearing a suit and tie but the coat he's wearing has a different collar. I specifically went back to check it. The outfit she's wearing at the lake is the same as in the intro sequence when she's on the train. So, it doesn't have to be in Japan. It's up for interpretation when this scene actually took place (it must be in the future though), if they met by chance or if they are really dating in secret since he's hinting a smile before the cut.
