I sincerely hope Disney reevaluates their strategy in Korea after this huge successful series. They need to bring back the OTT content team! If that's not possible, at least they made some pretty good series when they had the chance.
It hasn't aired for the local viewers yet. International viewers only get the dramas or movies AFTER the episodes…
I'm well aware that it hasn't aired in Korea yet. But these dramas are obviously produced for a growing global audience as well. Otherwise they wouldn't license them to streaming providers. Making fans wait for an additional week is just unacceptable.
You misunderstand what he said. The intros and the first scenes after that is not the same. For example, in EP5…
So we don't misunderstand each other. The first scene after the intro is what the director and I meant. That's what he calls opening title. They even showed that in the video I linked. And it makes sense. In episode 4 for example, we see Yi Ra and in that episode it's all about her and moving into the house. All I'm saying is, that people maybe put too much emphasis on those few little seconds. I agree, that it doesn't change the ending.
I think a lot of people are overinterpreting the opening titles of the episodes in regards to their relationship status. Because the director said in this making of https://youtu.be/ZbWEZM0B2A4?t=227 "The character that appears in each opening title is the main character in that episode. And those opening shots best describe those characters." Which makes sense. Maybe it's not that deep.
Is that the beginning of 9th episode? That day they met at a lake,Then parted ways to attend their schedules?Because…
Either that or they kept in touch as friends and met up in Japan. Depends on your personal interpretation of the signs and events. That's why this ending is a bit ambiguous and left some people unfulfilled.

He's not wearing the same outfit in the first and last scene of episode 9. People should stop saying that. Yes, it's a suit and tie but a different trench coat. And also she's not wearing the couples ring like she always did before on the left hand at the mall. So I don't know about those "clues". I feel like that last scene is just to throw people off. Something like "they went their sperate ways". The hug and confession of missing her and regretting it should have been enough to convince people. I doesn't make sense to say all that, apologize and then not get back together.
Yes. Obviously a happy ending. But some confuses the post credit scene with the ending. Don't let that happen…
I guess because people got confused about the constant time jumps and all out haziness of the last episode. They are probably used to a more linear storytelling with a clear happy ending. But if you carefully observe and consider all the signs it's pretty clear.
