Honestly, this drama tried to make something good but failed hard in the process. From the start they should have stuck to a action drama and keep romance very light. Also, everything just felt crammed from the start to the finish. This drama had lots of potential but failed to deliver. Things they could have done to improve the show IMO,
- 20-22 episodes, for action never settle for less. You need time to build up and progress the storyline and make a SOLID plot. Some directors screw the pace when there is extended episodes but in the right hands it can turn into a unforgettable masterpiece.
- 80:20 Action to Romance ratio. This is what you need if you want your drama to be successful in the action field. More than this will ruin the show. I call it the Perfect Formula.
- Action PLOTS PLOTS PLOTS , I am not talking about a half a episode action story IM TALKING a action story which goes for a solid 5+ episodes that will keep you in suspense. (you could call it a arc or chapter)
I could keep going on and on but I'll stop here...
They had a amazing cast, The K2 could have been MUCH MUCH more. As much as I hate the show I was stayed from the beginning to the end because of Ji Chang Wook & Song Yoon-Ah or else I would have dropped way halfway. NO WONDER why JCW doesn't want to do action drama's anymore. The last episode was a little redeeming though, they at least wrapped it up well.
I liked it, the story was nice and the cast really good. But what the hell? Everybody's doing whatever they…
I liked it , it showed he is a tank. I mean its a action drama what do you expect, also he is a elite Blackstone solider, those were fry's compared to him in terms of strength.
Yes!!! Please I hope the writers change their minds, like everyone wants yoo jin and je ha to happen but they are soo stubborn keeping je ha x anna ship sailing. no wonder why the viewership rating is not that good.
why Je Ha betrayed Yoo Jin. i thought they are friend . and he will not betray his friend. :( Poor Yoo Jin, she…
i know even though he betrayed her she still was nice with him. Yoo Jin X Je Ha i hope he understands her feelings for him. honestly if it wasn't for her he would have died many times! like yoo jin told anna that she is protecting je ha anna never protected je ha in fact it was the opposite. anna will only be a burden to him ! however yoo jin with the connections will be able to support a run away like him.
Honestly though it would have just been perfect if they made Wang So (Future) and Hae Soo (Future) meet up. Ji Mong showing up in the future though while retaining his memories of the past... I SENSE SEASON 2 POTENTIAL!
BTW, who was Hae Soo's daughter's actual father? I am still confused!
i really don't see the chemistry between jeha and anna, it seems so forced :/ i'm sorry for saying this…
I agree. I think Yoo Jin and Je Ha light romance with heavy action would have been so much better. I mean I was expecting next world suspense action scenes this episode but it was really quick and boring TBH. Yoo Jin X Je Ha
What happened to the cliffhanger we had at the end of episode 8? Episode 9 and have yet to know much about Park Gwang Soo and what happened in the past.
That blood on Louie's head in the next episode. I think he is for sure gonna get his memory back. Have to say though that preview gave away the whole next episode. In a good way though so there is no cliffhanger XD
