They got back together after 14 years then separated again for another 2 years to fulfill their dreams??? They had to separate 2 years for that?! So their careers are more important than the building of father-daughter relationship scenes which I was expecting that I’d see more in the last episode but writer deprived me of those special moments.:( how inspired was this writer to write this kind of ending? At least hanee and dong chan got their wedding and happy ending in the end... how considerate of this writer to let me see their wedding...

so Kim Wook sees dead people. I’m glad the series started out light and a bit humorous in tone . I hope they’d keep it that way, although I have no problem if it turns serious. :) So far I’m liking it.

That would work. U know those victims’ right fingernails that were found in min suk’s workshop, Im pretty sure the culprit had planted it there after killing min suk to frame him . The left ones he kept as souvenirs like ji won said. I noticed dad baek clipping his nails while talking to hyun su one time. Any chance he has fetish for fingernails ? And why those slits/cuts on the dead bodies’ right ankles? Close to the Achilles heels (cud mean“weakness”). Plus those marks of strangulations on the victims’ necks. Why target the ankles, neck, and fingernails? It’s like they had been voodooed or something. Like they were used for some rituals. And the victims are women who are loners... can be easily sacrificed cuz no one will look for them. That village is creepy. Who are the modern day members ? I’m sure many of them living in the city area probably trying to cover each other’s backs. They killed min suk cos he refused to become a member of this cult.
Maybe u can add more theories out of these small pieces of evidence seems u all good at that.
Another theory: Tendons and ligaments can be donated too cos those are connective tissues use to rebuild joints. The ones in the ankles can be tiny that any possibility of being discovered during autopsy maybe slim . Im not sure though . If there are ppl here in the audience who are in the medical field, maybe they can add opinion haha. So, the organ trafficking theory maybe true after all.

Are u saying there’s a possibility ji won have known the real baek before she met hyun su? and couldn’t tell the 2 guys apart when she finally met hyun su at her store the first time? Seems a little far fetched to me. The story how hyun su and ji won met and began their friendship was very clear cut tho, so the theory is very unlikely . The possibility of that being true is just too much for anyone’s heart to take cos that would be another crime added into his already millions of lies, ugh! so I hope it’s not true . About how the real hee sung got in a coma, we’ll find out next ep, and I can’t wait

That’s a good question. In the autopsy report, the only missing body parts were the victims’ right thumb fingernails lol

I like this theory. It seems reasonable enough to connect some of the dots in this case. The senior baek makes a good mastermind. So, I think I’m with you on this one . As for the accomplice, I guess it won’t hurt to take a guess myself.
My main suspects(accomplices) would be the ff:
1. the detective and captain: Lee Woo Chul and Oh Young Joon. Maybe they’re just there as spies for the mastermind, and will not hesitate to take action if their covers were blown?


2. The village detective Kyung Shik from yeon ju police station

3. The village doctor. His built doesn’t match the accomplice tho, but who knws...

4. The neighbor mr Kim (whose dog hyun su had thrown into the sewer when he was young), who has the same last name as Kim moo jin. I suspect he’s moo jin’s dad, so I’ll include moo jin(5) in my list of suspects as well, just in case. He seems shady to me anyway, maybe he was his dad’s apprentice. Currently he’s now focused on his career as a reporter and trying to lead ppl away from the truth about this case maybe?? DHS was even mad at him when he mentioned his name in his reporting. I myself wasn’t expecting that bcos I thought they were BFFs, but this is the only character that I’m hoping I’m wrong though bcos I do really want hyun su to have a bff

Well these are all for now...can’t think of anything else to add here . I hope they will reveal more hints/clues/characters in the upcoming episodes

Yes, I get that and have seen that other side of his character. The emotional part of himself that is enclosed and hidden, and will stay that way if he doesn’t get help. Only us viewers know who do hyun so is, how his cruel past shaped who he is, and the mental illness he inherited from his family. His mental health issue is what gives him the advantage of being easily emphatized by the audience. The lying and pretense are kinda being considered “acceptable”, it’s like bcuz of his “emotional issues” we viewers need to “understand” this character.
Do hyun su has learned and gained something from this deception. He gained a lovely wife and kid, learned husband and father skills, and learned to copy emotions . It benefited him. He’s contented the way things are and will continue because he has no conscience, unless he’s found out. Maybe in his own way he loves his wife and kid. That’s why he gets panic attacks everytime he gets close to being found out by his wife because he doesn’t want to lose her. Some ppl think this is okay . For me It’s pathetic and I feel sorry for him that my hear breaks. This guy needs help. Everyone deserves happiness , but deceiving and lying are not the way to go. Ji won doesn’t condone lies that’s why she’s extremely hurt, but it doesnt mean she’s not a forgiving person. I’m afraid there’s a chance she might forgive him when she was talking to his sleeping form one night saying, “just give me one thing. A reason to forgive you.” He definitely has a lot of convincing and explaining to do to win her trust back. She deserves that as much . His actions totally require forgiveness from his wife . When that happens, maybe the healing process will begin on his part with his wife’s help ... then that’s when I can finally say that it’s okay to not be ok?

Thats why it’s sad because that was the only rough part about him that she was aware of and fell in love with... the aloof guy who told her to get lost, the one who tried to protect her store one night from burglary, the tough guy who gets into fight in his younger days and who sees ghost, the guy she thought who was just ‘simply’ mysterious. That’s the guy she was drawn to and fell in love with. She loved that part about him.
She didn’t know the real one who won’t hesitate to kill if threatened. The one who can manipulate, deceive, lie and pretend. She married charming baek hee sung. The perfect dad and perfect guy who loves her, the guy who unbeknown to her, has been only pretending.
The fact remains that he’s been deceiving her for 14 years of their marriage and still is. He had more than enough chances to tell her the truth, but he didn’t. We all know why of course. And to be honest it’s killing me. I don’t know how the writer will turn this romance part of the drama around into something other than being dark, painful, and chilling in the end. That’s why I’m addicted to this show coz of the suspense. :( I’m starting to have doubts if this will end w a happy ending.

I just can’t get over the fact that do hyun su is a completely different man. The opposite of baek hee sung . She’s married to the almost-perfect, sweet, charming , and mysterious baek hee sung. He’s the guy that viewers love. The man ppl emphatize and root for. The fact remains that do hyun su is a total stranger . She has never seen the hostile guy who exchanged harsh words with moo Jin, the one who kidnapped, tortured and choked moo Jin in his basement, the manipulative man with a dangerous temper... of course he’s got good qualities that only his sister knows, but Ji Won has yet to know that man, the father of her child she never knew. It pains me that Ji won’s love will again be tested just like 14 years ago when she met him. How far would she go with her foolish love this time ?

About the sister killing the village head, although I understand the feeling, but the action, although justified, she still needs to take responsibility for it and be punished accordingly or appropriately. Because I want her name to be cleared too, at a later time maybe. Here comes the twist: maybe she almost killed the village head but somehow, someone else finished him off for her (the accomplice maybe? He seems to be concerned about her, judging from their exchange at the funeral, how he treated her and all), then disappeared before DHS arrived at the crime scene... is this another secret the sister is keeping? Why else wud the man admitted the crime of killing the village head because he was nosy? The said culprit seemed to not like DHS the way he talked about him at the funeral to hae su, so my guess he was the one who planted the murder weapon in DHS’ backpack. Im curious why he was hating DHS as if he knows him... DHS must know him too if only he’ll try to recall, because the sister is not telling

I’m also suspicious of the detective from the Yeon ju police station. After all he’s from that village and his built matches the accomplice

It happened in 2002 though, maybe he was less heavy that time ...umm just guessing too, but the ritual chanting drum seems like a better guess

I don’t understand why the culprit said to the ahjumma or witness over the phone that the village head was killed because he was nosy. Did he kill the village head or Hae su? Was he the one who planted the murder weapon in Hyun su’s backpack?

It’s strange tho that he told hyun soo he killed someone... not sure if my memory is right but I think he at least admitted that or rather hyun soo made him admit it while torturing him in the basement

I don’t why I can’t help not excluding the reporter from being a suspect. I know he’s likeable, funny and all but still, he looks quite the perve enough to kill one of those women, plus he had access to the workshop when he and hae soo were still dating ... I’m really curious what’s in that camcorder that hyun soo took from his apartment . Looks like he was recording something in the workshop basement. Right now he’s too keen on uncovering the truth but who knows what he’s really aiming is to lead ppl away from the truth . I know he was young at that time but who knows. I hope I’m wrong tho. I’m also suspecting one of the detectives as accomplice. Sometimes I wonder if what we write here gives the writer an opportunity to create twists in the story

Does anyone know if the police had ever confirmed the identities of the 6 victims or is it 7? Mi suk was 7, right ? I just hate going back and rewatch the eps. Just wondering what those victims had in common and their connection to the real killer whoever he was as I’m having doubts if it was really Do Min Seok.

Ikr. It’s like the writer changed the ending at the last minute ... they could have just stayed in world-b for a little bit and not make rush decisions... wait it out and just keep SK safe. But do won is so scared for seo kyung’s life that he ran off

Yes. Sounds like a perfect world for dw-a and sk-b.:) I wonder which world the villain chief Oh came from. I hope she’ll die in the prison in world-b (lord forgive me), so when that happens, dw-a and sk-b can go back if that’s possible.. that’ll be a good season 2 story. :)
