is it safe to say that Domundi is really challenging GMMTV now,? This is, should i say, the 3rd very good series from then after Khemjira and Duang with You. i love love love that they are trying hard to improve their production and i love love love that they are not constrained in making episodes run in a fixed amount of time.
this episode is about 75 min long (almost twice as a notmal GMMTV episode) and i would say this is by far my most fave episode yet. Almost every scene is important, they are getting down to the nitty gritty but they dont forget to serve usbthe fans what we ordered. It is a perfect balance of substance and fluff.
Do you call it gaybait when there is a gay character that has a feeling to one of the ML? it's more complex than…
Yes, id conider it as gaybait if its not actually a BL show considering theyve been marketing this show as one ever since it was announced. I dont need a lovey-dovey BL i just want to set my expectations right to prevent any personal heartbreak . i will watch the show anyway since I am inlove with OTY eversince the Cabi song.
I loved that the cast isnt playing college students anymore. I know that Santa is still age-appropriate as college studnt but the rest arent. I remembered seeing Sammy in Fourever You and i was thinking how long will Sammy play a college student cause she just doenst look like a student anymore.
With that said, i appreciate GMMTV trying to do somethigng different but this series is just too boring for me. I was at 100% excited when the show was announced then i became 75% after the first episode. Now i just dont feel like its a must-see everyweek and instead watched it every 3 episodes.
I feel like a lot of the scenes are forcing the viewers to make us cry but they are pretty corny and they feel forced. Granted i really dont know how thngs work with people suffering form multiple personalty disorder. For a show that deals so heavily with a psychological condition, it is so surprising why they havent showed them consulting a psychologist in the show and took a professional's advise on how to properly deal with the situation isntead of just experimenting on their own. Also, I hated the way they were trying to force Sun into hiding when i feel like Sun IS supposed to be the real main personality and Solar is the alternate split - when and if Sun is healed the one supposed to disappear is Solar and not Sun.
I always loved historical drama and those faboulous, gorgeous costumes and i didnt know bringing the royal setting to the modern times can be this engaging and juicy.
This role is made for IU. She is just perfect for it. And goodness, Woo Seok and Steve are both so fine, i cant choose between them. Anyone standing beside Woo Seok will look tiny, Steve is 6ft tall for crying out loud yet he looked small standing beside our prince.
Bro try to watch When life gives you tangerines.. Its really good
Ive heard really good things about it and i love PBG but i just cant bring myself to watch it. The trailers and promos just dontdo it for me. It looks and feel too serious and too heavy, I prefer light dramas with a hint of fantasy and comedy.
Ive got to say im not a big IU fan, Ive seen and loved scarlet heart but i couldnt even finish Hotel del Luna. I havent even bothered to watch her last one with Bo Gum. Saying that,i am really loving this drama. I love the concept and the execution.
I also love the acting and i think both leads fit the role perfectly.
Im wishing they could keep the momentum and quality till the end of the series.
Lee Chae amin is giving a major leading actor vibe. I cant believe he is just 25. He has matched Yoona's energy and you just cant see the age gap between them.
why torture yourself waiting to see how "DMD will ruin this show" when you can drop and move to the next. And…
Did i say i was tortured and miserable while watching the show? Dont put words in my mouth that i never said. We are free to comment and say our observations whether its positive or negative - i am merely commenting based on this week's episode and i am saying it because i really really enjoyed the first few episodes. And i would hate if they cant stick with the landung.
To return your words to you, why would a comment i made prevent you from enjoying the show? If you love the shkw then just go ahead and enjoy it.
Worst episode so far. Almost everything screams overacting and my goodness that horrendous awkward screenplay.
Im sad for Mike's Oh, that character is just despicable and to make him play victim with all that crying (and that awful backround music during his scene with his mom) in this episode made me think that writers just didnt know what they were doing.
The only saving grace in this episode is that kiss at the beginning.
i dont know why we went back to HIll and Easter's story again this week the show feels kinda draggign when we they are the focus. I thought we already moved on to JOhan-North and i was hoping to see the next couples.
With the exception of Shao Peng's mother, this episode (episode 7) really made me dislike the women in this series.…
I agree about the women in the series. We've been led to believe that Shu He is like a big sister to Shao Peng (i even thought maybe they were cousins or somewhat related) - that backstory isnt necessary and will only complicate the plot and not in a good way. I also hate watching BL shows with intentionally annoying female characters - its like saying women are the evil entities in the world of Boy Love. That is just lazy lazy storytelling. I was enjoying the show so far before this episode - i thought initially that the writing was kinda shallow and the execution is dragging but it is tolerable - but now i just dont know how to feel about it.
I have to ask why it took DMD this long to launch Thomas as a lead actor. This guy is gorgeous!
My only wish is that they keep the consistency of the show all throughout the series, i dont have a lot of confidence with DMD shows - their track record (and the director's) speaks for itself. I sincerely hope this is that one show
my goodness they managed to squuze-in all the Bl cliches in these short 90sec clips. And to have tons of slow-motion effects? is this for real? whoever told the makers this is a good release strategy should be fired!
very entertaining first episode but why is the rating so low? The story reminds me so much of 2gether but then again what doesnt? I have to sayThomas looked so hot. And although Mike looked really good here, I feel like he is too old to play a college student.
