Cuz she's the next witch! she can read the names of ingredients too. when Ji Hyo makes another wish she'll die,…
In fact, in the original book, the two become witches and the owner of the restaurant. The drama changed the ending.

Actually bullying in Korea is as severe as it's portrayed due to hierarchies and such. They even have different…
But the way they paint it, everyone is influential in this country.?

The romance in this drama,,, doesn't make any sense? Is it just me? :(I don't even see why those two guys would…
This kdrama isn't supposed to be romantic, thank God. It's Family, Drama, Fantasy and Mystery, if we were to classify it. Even Viki doesn't have the romance tag.

Title The Witch's Diner Spoiler
"Roopretelcham. Everything you think and choose comes true."Ahhh... I finally finished it. Although there were…
I agree. I hardly ever watch dramas, but this one I watched because of the witch and the mother-daughter theme. And this mystery of her mother haunting her and protecting her is what made me watch it. They're just making me sick by making only 8 episodes. I hate it. I wanted 16 episodes because yes, I loved the witch, I was attracted to her, she's so beautiful. And there are several parts that are confusing and unexplained. What witch powers does she have? Some parts of the curse were left unexplained or confusing. Like: why did Jin's father abandon his marriage? Was it because Jin appeared and the adoptive mother stayed with her, and he didn't want her? It wasn't very clear, since the curse was just to make him unhappy with his daughter's unhappiness. And what about the girl without a singing voice now? What happened to her? And Jin's grandmother? Would Heera's mother want to see Jin? I don't think Jin's misfortune was shown much because in the first episode she already makes a wish. I think there should have been more misfortune in her life before she met Heera, and Heera was always around whenever something went wrong. She had a job for five years, as mentioned at the beginning of the series, and she had a five-year relationship. Everyone can handle five years of a bad job. EVERYONE. I thought the narrative was rushed to fit into eight episodes. (I read the book about the witch's restaurant, and it was rushed too; the Korean writing lacks emotion.) There are worse dramas than this one with longer runtime, and this one, which had great potential, doesn't have 16 episodes. Not everything is about romance; the story focusing on the mother and daughter is great; it breaks the monotony.

This drama had cute characters, but the screenplay was way too weak. I can't help it. Many sections of the storyline…
Didn't you get the idea when Heera says at the end that she wants to see how her daughter will fare as a witch in her place? Obviously, Jin will be different, more compassionate than Heera. Her first client, a writer, was to give her tendonitis in exchange for helping her write a story.

I really love ji-ji couple 🥺😍god they were beautiful mother and daughter i ever seen
I thought so too. I want more mother-daughter dramas with this mysterious feel. I'm tired of simple mothers. This kind of mother-daughter narrative, where the mother abandons her daughter but is around to help, all diva, beautiful, rich, I loved. I thought they would finally get together. Then Heera leaves. At least in the book she stays, and the restaurant has two witches now.

In South Korea, celebs are not that open about their private life. Recently the ml from high society said he is…
You weren't watching it carefully. The drama itself says that not even the media knew he was married with a daughter. He hid it from everyone. How would she know? The comment above is absolutely right; you can't find out that way unless you're a professional detective. South Korea isn't Los Angeles/Hollywood.

The mere fact that there's no romance and it's all about motherhood drama raises my bar. I can't stand motherhood stories being ignored to give prominence to romance, when there are already 500,000 dramas you can watch about romance and let motherhood shine for once.

No matter how you look at it, the drama was a missed opportunity for something much better. It's a very dumbed-down…
I watched this drama, in love with the witch being the mother. But the drama was better than the book. Yesterday I downloaded the Korean book and translated it. The novel is 10x worse. It's rushed, lacking detail and depth between Herra and Jin. It gives the impression that the Witch doesn't even care about Jin. Believe me, the drama was much sweeter, giving layers to the witch behind the actress who showed emotions through her eyes. In the book, the Witch gets with Jin and they become two witches in the restaurant, but it's just a single line of narration explaining this; the story doesn't reveal anything. It's rushed narration. Horrible. There's no emotion at all, it's empty. I wish the drama adapted it even better, showing the mother-daughter bond. Korean disappoints me with such coldness.
