I have already planned a rewatch after it ends!!! It's made me fall in love with Xianxia dramas all over again…
I haven't watched love and destiny so far but I love xianxia dramas too! I have watched many of them and I love how xianxia dramas have action fantasy romance angst and friendship all in one drama. It's a rollercoaster ride.
I enjoy the comments and discussion a lot. Sometimes, it's nice to hear others' viewpoints and they make some observations that I have missed... so it's fun to know them!
How did you find Love and destiny? Somehow I never started watching the series even though it's on my watchlist. I am curious about it
Too many angst episodes just kill me. Like I legit want to lock them up in a room and they are not allowed to leave unless they clear all the misunderstandings or whatever it is that's causing them angst xD
I have noticed this trend where some leave nasty comments and it amuses me. We are here to talk about the drama... so we discuss plot, acting, scene, characters and even actors. We may dislike a scene or a character or even acting (though I personally love everything in this drama) and we may point that out but spewing hate comments is so childish. It means even your hatred needs validation from the crowd. You won't be satisfied unless you spread hatred. If spewing hatred against any actor is the only way for you to feel happy, then you don't deserve my time and attention. You need counseling and I am no counselor or psychologist.
People like me watch a drama to find a small haven in our busy lives. I can't waste my precious time reading your comments... so I will ignore you. Sorry haters but you are insignificant to me. This drama is amazing to me. The acting is amazing to me. After a hard day's work it makes me happy to watch IS episodes. I wait anxiously for next IS episodes and I love the comments and discussions on this page. IS is like my comfort food right now. I don't care if it's Michelin level or not. It just satisfies me and I need it everyday. :D
Wow! Is it just me who feels that the couple moments are so short? Is this what they call appetizers? These moments are brief and it keeps you longing for more! I want to see them spending more time together like episode 10
One episode felt too short. It's so amazing that one episode had so many heartwarming scenes. I loved the reunion of the sisters! Also this time Zhixi cherishes the sisterly bond over personal benefits. She has also grown up. If you gain the world at the cost of your only family, then it is a loss. That's what Zhixi realized in the past millennium. It's great to see she is willing to break rules rather than let her sister suffer. The last scene was beautiful. It's much more romantic than usual love confession scene. The whole "you can take my life but not my love for you" scene just melts your heart! How does he manage to say such heart wrenching lines so easily? The acting was superb from TZ and YD.
It's hard to bid farewell to TZ. We will probably have 1 more ep of TZ before YY takes over. Looking back TZ is such a fantastic persona. No wonder so many cherish him. He's different from YY (so he was basically speaking the truth when he said "I am not him"). I will miss TZ. It won't be the same when YY takes over.
I am curious as to what will happen to the trio. I loved the trio and their adventures.
There's one more scene that was really heart warming. TZ recognized that it was not YD but someone impersonating her and YD saw this with her eyes. She had this grievance in the heaven realm but now she saw it with her eyes that TZ will always recognize YD. We can see YD is moved. YD confesses to her sister that she loves him without expecting anything from him. Such kind of love is precious. No wonder, YY will decide to give up on his immortality to be with her. YD will also see the depth of his love towards the end of the series. She won't be satisfied with TZ loving her wholeheartedly. She needs YY to show her how much he wants to be with her. I look forward to scenes of YY chasing YD. xD

Waiting for 3 days for the next episode is nothing short of plain torture. Even rewatching old episodes can't help this time! The next episode has the the most awaited moment! Why do they air only 1 ep on thursday!!??!! :(
Naaah just do a rewatch! It hasn't stopped me! Eps 2-6 five times and still going strong!
I know right. Those are so dreamy. I have rewatched them so many times! I also rewatch the first 3-4 episodes after TZ and YD meet in mortal realm. Those are funny and so I like those ep as well.
It's nice to see that they wrapped up matters of Lingxiao Sect properly. The sect realizes that good and evil exists in all beings. So far, the pace is good. A big like from me! It's also beautiful to see YD realize that the weight of responsibilities. YD jumping off the bridge actually saved their relationship. xD They needed the experiences of mortal realm to understand each other. YM never ceases to wow me as a SML. He is so nice to TZ even though TZ is his love rival. Such a nice SML is rare species in dramaworld. I am happy with the trio moments. It's so heartwarming to see how YM and YD stood by TZ in his lowest moments. Such friendship is precious and no wonder TZ recovers faster than he would without YD and YM. Usually in other dramas, the FL single handedly helps the ML out of misery. I like that here the SML also helps the ML. Such wholesome characters! I wait for tomorrow's episodes now!
Okay TZ you have shown not only YD but all of us how much YD means to you! Such an amazing scene! You broke the restraining bracelet and saved your girl! You paid the price willingly. You have won us over! I will start rooting for you two properly from now on! Empty words of love bug me. I like actions rather than empty words and I am sure YD is also moved by your actions.
It was also touching to see how much YD means to not only YM and TZ but to all other spirits on Yelan Mountain. They are like a big family. I miss the trio adventures so I hope I will see their reunion soon. I might be one of the few who enjoyed their adventures. It's hard to come across such a nice SML and so I really like the trio. Such mature characters. Love them! Also I like how QinQi helped TZ save YD. She's not a regular 1D character who sees the world in black and white. Nice!
What YY was never able to do, TZ did so beautifully and magnificently. I like it! I am pretty sure, the glaciers in YD's heart are melting rapidly just like in Antarctica. I shall see you all tomorrow. IS didn't disappoint me today as well!

If you like a sensible and funny FL, a super nice SML who is not just nice to FL but is also nice to ML and amazing chemistry between the actors, then maybe you want to invest your time in this series. The romance is dreamy and the subplots are also nice. ML needs no introduction. He will wow you. Avoid the series if you hate xianxia or romance or angst because the pain train hits you and derails you in the drama.

We are in sync! So YD actually see YY's big picture and for that she rejects TZ even though she loves him and was so happy to hear him say that he would rather be with her than be an immortal. What more do you want from her? She is doing her best. She assists him even after she regained her memories. No wonder YY will also realize her importance afterwards :D All this angst is necessary for him to realize that he should not say goodbye to someone who cherishes him wholeheartedly.
So much for heavenly rules!! Screw heavenly rules! xD
Just watched ep 39, and I love the angst and all, but I'm a bit confused with YD. Like I understand she suffered…
Yandan knows now that YY loves her but he will always choose three realms over her and for that he will always deceive her. She is mad at him because even at the last moment he chose to abide her wish and remove her memory rather than confessing his feelings and staying true to his promise. YY saw her state and how she was on verge of extinction but she still couldn't let go of their memories. He still kept her in dark, lying about the dream butterfly. So all in all he will never admit it and instead choose to erase memories rather than face them. Honestly why won't Yandan be mad? She knows now that YY loves her but he will never break heavenly rules for her. She will always be left behind. And in ep 39, we see how she beautifully accepts this. She chose to go along YY's wish of remaining separate.
I am so so happy that the drama already started airing. I was really anxious that I will have to wait for the part 2.
I might belong to the minority who actually thinks that Yandan's rejection makes sense in this episode. Even if TZ is adorable, loving and caring and wears his heart on his sleeve, Yandan can't just accept him. YY did make a choice back then. He chose that heavenly rules can't be broken at all costs. He also promised at the Goudan lodge that he will be with her forever. He broke his promise. Promise means a lot in a relationship. Since Yandan knows that YY will always chose the three realms over her, does it make sense that she will choose her for few decades and then when TZ returns to heavenly realm, she will continue living her life?
I am happy that Yandan dares to think for herself. I am not a big fan of self sacrificing FL. And she has already sacrificed a lot. Yeah YY also made those sacrifices for her and YD knows now that he loves her BUT she knows that she will always be left behind. So TZ/YY must show that YD is #1 choice for him.
