Lol.. I can relate with you. At the same time, parents pressuring their children is a major issue everywhere. Many do harmful stuff to escape this kind of pressure so I hope parents worldwide stop pressuring their children beyond what the kids can handle. :)

Your thoughts match mine. You have said all that was in my heart. This drama has mature characters....which is a delight. I don't find a drama often which has so many mature characters, mature plot and mature decisions. Maybe those who are dissing aren't mature so they are not able to relate.... Entirely possible...

On the other hand.... After watching 6 episodes, the ending was not as bad as I had imagined..... The ending builds up over the 6 episodes.... I actually liked the flow in 6 episodes... It was such a rollercoaster ride. Finally we have a non-dream kiss .... Even though YY is drunk. Best part is that YD initiated it ... So now she reciprocates 100%. Maybe next time...in their mortal life they will have a proper kiss where it's NOT a dream and NOBODY is drunk. xD
They had a very sweet moment on the whale as well where YY confesses that only YD can fulfill his wish....
I like that YD took her time in sorting out her feelings....she had some unresolved issues and she sought those answers...maybe we needed a drunk YY for that. Lol

I feel more sad for LWY. Man he resurrected someone who was never in love with her. He was a nice character and he died heroically. He didn't choose the side of evil till the end even though he was a demon.

I loved the trio adventures!! I really love this trio. Their teamwork is amazing. It's heartwarming to see Yumo treat him the same as before. YY needed a friend after HQ's betrayal. I am super sad their team has only one member left. Let's see what happens in the next 2 episodes.

It was also heartwarming to see how YY had a nice family reunion in the illusion. TBH I think he lives the best moments in illusion.

HQ's motivations were clearly shown so I am glad he's not another 1d villain who wants to rule the world and destroy everything.

Good fight scenes... It was fast paced and I liked it this way. Nothing was draggy.

For all who were calling YD stupid for having sacrificed herself in vain even though YY died to protect her and the world, I have a thought to share. Maybe you can look at it this way.... YY protects three realms and YD protects him. From the beginning, YD has been like that. She gave his whole heart and jumped off the bridge all for her love for YY. Without him and her sister, she has no more anchor in this world. Yumo has Yelan mountain so YD knows he won't be alone. She accompanied him in death. She can't send him off alone. This is quite normal in ancient romance stories... Also the ending scene of the incense burner gives us hope that they will be together as their romance still lingers. Atleast in the end scene we see that YY equates three realms with her and YD has also realised this.

Also, I like how Houde supports YY. Lol. He tortured YY and YD in the beginning episodes...lol. It was nice to see him trusting YY when everyone else abandoned him. Also the scene of soldiers making way for YY's escape was heart warming. YY spent so many years as Dijun. If after all those years everyone abandons him then it's heartbreaking... After all YY was quite dedicated in his duty.. so it was nice to see that he still had many loyal supporters and followers.
All in all, the 6 episodes were fantastic rollercoaster ride. I loved watching them.... The plot and acting were all good. The end scene leaves quite an impression. I am only pissed at Youku for being so sneaky.

Hi all! IS having two more episodes comes as more of a shock than surprise... Lol

At first, I was so confused at the rants and bursts of anger and grief I found here in the discussion page. The discussion page was so lively and then we all realised that we have been deceived. I feel sad for those bought the express package without the information of IS having 2 more ep.

Those who feel that YD should have understood YY when she jumped off the bridge that YY had good intentions even though he spoke such cold hearted words..... You should now realise that it's never good to be deceived!!!! xD communication is important. Youku should have mentioned that they have 2 more ep.

I think after spending 800 years in night forgetting river, she's lost her romance skills xD Her PDA is quite lacking... PTSD maybe :D

Their story is likely to be wrapped up in the next episode... so XY and RQ's story spanned only 1.5 episodes..... it feels too short to me... considering how interesting their story is!

YY learn from your dad on how to get a woman. Since you were raised by heavenly emperor, you are so useless that it took 1000 years to just be in the same room as your girl. xD

Jokes apart, we learn that tricks can get you the woman but she will leave you sooner or later. So YY is still better :D

If only they added one more episode to XY and RQ's story. This is just too short. We need a little longer story of both of them.

Looking at the trailer it seems that the mischievous nature is hereditary.... Lol... XY used such sly tactics to trick RQ into marrying him .... Of course, YY is more upright but he low key tricked YD into staying the night at his palace.... Lol also as TZ, he bound her to him using the excuse of the bracelet... xD

I am excited to see Xuan Ye's backstory. Finally we shall know YY's birth story... :D maybe we will get clues behind huanqin's motives as well....

Today's episodes..... Were so painful. I skipped some of the scenes which I will rewatch now. YD lost her only family. it was so good to see YY trying to console YD. Before, it was YD who consoled him. Now it's role reversal time. Their love is so mature and beautiful. Absolutely lovely. No wonder some people are not able to understand their love and chemistry.

This kind of love is seen in couples who have been together for decades. You entrust yourself to the other and have blind faith in the other person. Also, you will always be there for the other. YD and YY showed this kind of relationship... After all they spent a lifetime together in a dream. xD

If I am disappointed with something in today's episodes is that some scenes have been deleted which has disrupted the flow. Yumo must have rescued them but that scene is never shown. C'mon editor, did you fall asleep and deleted more than you should have? I hope they release the deleted scenes afterwards.

Omg! That will be awesome... Actually there are many upcoming dramas of this genre but I doubt they will be released in 2022. for example fox spirit matchmaker, till the end of the moon, back from the brink, love never fails, love you seven times and of course longest promise :D let's see if any one of these gets released in 2022

I will let you know my thought about LAD when I watch it.

I so loved the smug look of YY. haha! We can see that there is a bit of TZ in him. He himself admits that he is also TZ.

This happens to me as well. When the drama is airing, I am more focused on the main couple and the main plot. So I miss the details. I always appreciate a drama more on second watch (provided it's a rewatch worthy drama of course!) Also I remember while watching L&R, I didn't know how the ending will be like so I was always worried about that. I ignored many subplots because of this concern. Also, I skipped the blood spitting scenes xD I just felt bad for Sifeng. I even felt bad for Chengyi. Man that scene was on repeat in the drama. xD so in my first watch, i skipped many such scenes

Okay, thank you! So I am more motivated to watch love and destiny now! Anyways there is no more xianxia drama to watch when IS ends... so it will be nice to watch then :D
