I dropped this drama after midway through episode 3 because I just couldn't get into the humour and the camera…
Anything with Lee Joon Gi I would never drop even if the drama is boring (I just love him too much on my screen hehe). Ahh Romantic Dr Kim, it's on my list. I'm planning on watching that one soon after I finish Shopping King Louie! It's on my list next, I heard good reviews too so I'm looking forward to it :D Jealously Incarnate is now on my On-hold list. I'll marathon this drama when I have spare time :)

8th episode onwards, okay that answers my question!! I was in the same boat with Scarlet Heart Ryeo, I had to stick with it until 6th onwards to really be addicted so if it's the same case here, I'm willing to give this a second chance! Thanks so much chingus!

I dropped this drama after midway through episode 3 because I just couldn't get into the humour and the camera makes me dizzy. But I've been tempted so many times to give this another chance, especially with the number of good reviews. Is this worth watching? Which episode onwards does the plot pick up? :)

After reading comments here, I've decided not to watch this. It seems like the remake is much better so I'll stick to the remake :)

I found this on Twitter. These were leaked pictures of Wang So's scene in the finale episode that got cut…
@Raincat thinking about you are right, the ending did fit well with this drama even if I wished to see future Wang So. But then...Gu Family Book had a reincarnated scene too. That was left opened ended that screamed "to be continued". I remember watching this and trying to find the second season but could never find it. So yeah, maybe it's better they ended it this way and wrapped everything up.

Cmiiw but in the Chinese original modern Wang So turned out to be a CEO so you're spot on with that haha.

P.s. doesn't that car remind you of Kang Chul's car in W? Both of them are CEOs too!! lols

Is it me or does his head looked like it got cropped and Photoshopped into that body? ...it just looks unnatural.…
The new one is so much better. Thanks so much for changing it Hessa and for all your hard work ❤❤❤

I agree it would've given us peace of mind if they left it as an open ending with Wang So and Hae Soo meeting each other. Hae Soo would still have her memories while Wang So doesn't. This sort of ending would be left to viewer's interpretation (even though Im not that fond of open endings) I would be okay with it! Anyway, as a fan of LJG I'm not too disappointed since the silver lining is, it's a hit drama internationally and I'm so happy that his fan base grew! :)

before anything else I just want to say that Lee Jun Ki deserves the Best Actor/ Daesang/ Ultimate Actor Award…
Omg chinguuu same~! Lee Min Ho was my first korean love because my very first kdrama was City Hunter! Now I don't even know why I even liked him so much back then because really City Hunter was his only best work in my opinion. I'm over LMH since after I saw Heirs and BOF... Haha. Later on I didn't have any kdrama 'love' since I keep switching around but since last year after "Scholar" and "I Remember You", I've been continually loyal to Lee Joon Gi, Seo In Guk and Park Bo Gum ❤❤❤ I get the feeling I'll be loyal to these three for a very long time too :)

I wonder that too, and I think Lee Joon Gi might be disappointed to see it being cut out because if you noticed, he wore the same outfit as modern Wang So to his fan meet/screening of final episode! (Grey suit with black turtle neck) and the fact that before the drama aired he also said that Scarlet Heart will have a happy ending in one of his V app videos. I think the director decided to be faithful to the novel?

Aww haha I wished I did that actually. This drama was intense..hmm I know you don't like spoilers but this drama was meant to have a happy ending though. Modern Wang So and Hae Soo were supposed to meet but they didn't air it (I'm assuming the director decided to stay true to the novel). So I'm going to believe that Scarlet Heart ended happily :) I hope Joon Gi won't take another year to be in a drama again. I'm going to miss him until then!

@94loveKdrama @DianaCarvalho aww you guys must know him much longer than I have then. So lucky :) I only started watching kdramas 2 years ago (but it feels like ages ago haha). From what I see, it seems like LJG was somewhat underrated too. He was really popular before his military service (MS) though but didn't seem to get back his popularity after MS. I'm glad he got back his popularity now ❤ he mentioned in his fan meet how after 10 years in the industry he's happy and surprised that his fan base is able to grow after that long. :)

Haha I already knew you've seen that drama and gave it a 10 xD agree he's way too awesome and I felt he was underrated before but I am so glad he regained his popularity again. Was putting the recommendation out there for anyone new to him. They should be exposed to awesomeness ❤ ;) I'm planning on watching Arang next (this have been on my to-watch list for ages but never got round to it).

I agree! Two weeks was my first LJG drama and I remember thinking "wow this actor is amazing!". It's one of my favourite dramas to this day <3

+1000 to this all the way!!!! I've been saying this since Scholar ended last year, despite drama not being that great his performance was top notch! Of course this one is his best role by far for me (along with Two Weeks! It's a totally must-watch drama if you're new to Lee Joon Gi) ❤❤❤

I'd rather have this version of the ending (found on Soompi): "My happy ending is modern day Wang So's…
I like her too up to episode 18, then everything went downhill with her character for me. I wished they have written her better though (just my opinion) but she frustrates me with her illogical choices.
