Though I know the lead actor, I had to check twice if he really is the one who plays the lead in Angel Eyes..…
Ikr, I didn't think much of him in Angel Eyes but after I saw him in Liar Game (he looks exactly the same as this drama) I so changed my mind. Love him in this drama! I really recommend Liar Game (only 12 episodes) when you get round to it. He's quite amazing as the genious guy there!!! :D
Hmm....I've seen and loved the anime. Wondering whether this is worth the watch, is it as good as the anime? I've read mixed reviews on this so ain't so sure...
Trolls and anti-fans present a unique glimpse into the myriad intricacies that make up the human mind. Why waste…
I agree forget the troll. There's no point in arguing with him since he doesn't care for how well you argue.... He will just reply with the most illogical reasons ever on why he hates LJK. He even called Lee Seung Gi "monkey face" so I don't take him seriously at all now. Good news for everyone, he just got banned :)
IT WAS AWESOME! Will be re-watching this one many many times
He's a troll. I've stopped taking him seriously after what happened last time and his amount of trolling...it was so bad that even the admin had to step in to delete a bunch of his comments before. He even got a warning to not use profane languages here again. I'm just thankful that he's at least being polite now on this thread compared to before.
was pretty good overall i'd say , i'm happy enough with the ending considering the fact that the manhwa is still…
yes I agree, if this drama had a solid plot, like "I Remember You", delving into Gwi's character would have made the drama more interesting, rather than focusing too much on fluffy stuff and prolonging the plot longer with the whole secret plan thing. They could've used Gwi's character to their advantage and explored him in-depth. Much like how Liar Games, I Remember You, Healer did with their villains. They had so many interesting things to explore on and it's a pity they only chose to focus on 1 conflict/aspect throughout the whole drama. Still I enjoyed this drama anyway :) Out of the previous vampire dramas this year (Blood and Orange Marmalade), I liked this one the most because it's less confusing (OM with their weird time jump timeline 3 times) and has better actors (compared to Blood).
I mean it's like there HAS to be some jumping in time and couple splitting up for a while even if it doesn't make…
Haha ikr, it's so cliche...I feel like literally EVERY k-drama I watched has a time-jump in the finale. It's like so unavoidable. I couldn't think of a drama that doesn't have this.... still I agree, cute and easy drama to watch :)
I really loved this - the obligatory time-jump made some sense this time (he needed to heal, people needed to…
+100
Agreed! ♥ it is not a perfect drama, but it is an easy watch and quite enjoyable. The downside of this drama is that the writing isn't solid, there were many plot holes. However, the cast did a brilliant job and put their all in making their characters turn to life.
lol....LJK rocks that guy-liner look! He reminds me of Ji Sung in KMHM, never thought guyliner would look good on a guy. Even Yeo Eui Joo (Hak Yong) looked great. I hope in the future LJK gets an excellent project that will be a hit. He won an acting award for the 10th Seoul Drama Awards 2015. So happy for him! http://www.soompi.com/2015/09/10/winners-of-the-10th-seoul-drama-awards-2015-announced/ :D

Yeah Gwi is a very interesting character. You know he's evil but he isn't evil without emotions. His past probably made him the way he is and you can imply that he's equivalent to a modern day psychopath where in his twisted mind, he believes what he's doing is right. He despise humans and think of everything related to humans is a weakness because he isn't human himself. Yet basic human emotions are the very thing that affects him the most without him realising it himself. Failing to acknowledge that it affects him and failing to accept those around him (humans) is what caused his downfall. I do like his character and how confused he can be at times when he sees others helping/loving Sungyeol (another beast like him). He's a conflicted character for sure and I do pity him. Poor Gwi, one can tell how lonely his immortal life is and it was really sad how much HR's death affected him. He's a lonely creature....sometimes I think, if there is just one person who accepted Gwi and loved him (without betraying him), he could've been a good person. Gwi is presented as a stark contrast to SY. He's dark (can't walk in the sun, always in the shadow) and SY is light. He's a representation of what SY could be without love and trust from people. The story keep suggesting that if YS dies, SY would turn off his humanity for good. So all those scenes of SY's internal battle with his evil self is very suggestive of what Gwi may have went through. The only difference is, Gwi lost to his dark side (probably due to betrayal) while SY had a stronger will thanks to YS and the girl (at end of episode 18) saving him. That scene was particularly touching because it made him realised that people do trust and have faith in him. It doesn't matter what you are on the outside, it's what inside that counts and people can see that. Just that faith alone means so much to SY, who never once thought he belonged in the human world....something which Gwi never received. In the finale, SY's final internal battle with himself, he no longer calls himself a beast nor is he human. He accepted himself as neither and someone who can help others when in need (therefore, one can infer that it is finally his acceptance of existing as a Guardian - neither beast nor human, just a protector). Again, it's sad that Gwi turned out this way and he could've been someone like SY. Gwi was originally meant to be a guardian himself, but my guess is he probably fell in love and the woman betrayed him. His dark side took over. But then again, Gwi being the good guy would not make a drama haha...anyhow sorry for the my ramblings, that's just my interpretation of Gwi's character :)
Lee Joon Gi has been a favorite since I first saw him years ago in the King and the Clown. This drama just reinforced…
I agree, this drama had a really strong cast and they're all able to act really well (the visuals was an extra bonus) :D I like all the characters even the supporting ones. Although not a perfect drama, SWWTN was a fun ride and I enjoyed it a lot too. One thing I love about this is that it does have that manga-turned-to-life feel in this drama. It really does feel like I'm watching a manga in live action, where you're mesmerised with the character's beauty and the music gives it that extra fantasy element. I too also rewind on the hot male leads hehe. XD
Im about to spoiler a bit but Help me Because i really dont know! So the last scene can someone tell me was it…
From what I understand from Soompi....its a happy ending. YS waited for 1 years and could've waited for another 50 years but SY returned sooner than she thought. For the time which he disappeared, she always felt a presence following her. Now he appears and asks if she wants to follow him. She says yes, anywhere as long as she is with him. They hug and that's the end.
Btw, that kiss and bloodsucking was the best lol. SY is a guardian vampire after all so he must exist to protect the humans.
That last scene in ep18 was so touching. LJK is so expressive and executed Kim Sung Yeols emotions perfectly ❤️❤️❤️…
Exactly :) it would have more of a satisfying impact if they get to live happily in this lifetime rather than reincarnating. SY and YS are so cute together both behind-the-scenes on set and on screen. I'm so glad LYB played this role since I can't picture any other actress playing YS but her. She's perfectly casted.
Lol, I was wondering about Joseon Gunman, since so far I've only seen 2 LJK dramas - this one and Two Weeks. I'm a new fan so I might go and see Arang first after this one finishes. :)
Oh and the trolling is finally fixed! With sincere thanks to Skye :D
