I don't think I ever said that it was unimportant! All I'm saying is that it was way too long considering they only have 14 episodes in total and it took away from the flow of the drama. My main problem with it is it's length and the method of delivery.

If it's to set up the finale? then it should have happened near the finale not about halfway through the drama, as it stands people will forget about a lot of little details in the flashbacks by the time we get to the finale.
yes i too think the same. (though some liked this flashback) or I would be also okay if they could have made only…
Well! according to the preview of episode 9, they seem to be going back to the present timeline and the funny/serious theme. I just feel sad for a bunch of people that dropped because of the long and somewhat pointless flashback.
I genuinely don't understand why there was a need for such a long ass flashback? first of all it took away the flow of the Drama that was generated by the main cast, secondly a lot of the scenes seem unnecessarily long and since all of this is in the past, the audience might not really give a shit about it. the Villain is cliche as hell. it doesn't even feel like a flashback, it's more of a huge exposition dump. And If they absolutely needed to have this long of a flashback? why couldn't they cut them up and insert them in the main story in small portions, it would have felt more natural and even could have helped the flow of the story. But most importantly it feels like I'm watching a different drama.
Yeah their relationship was really beautiful, If only they had gotten rid of the mom sooner then they could have been a real family for a long time. Also how do you make your profile picture move like that?
I finally managed to finish this snoozefest after putting it on hold for so long, with all due respect to SIG, he really needs to look for better projects. About the drama; I'll start with the comedy, during the 18 episodes I maybe laughed twice and smiled a couple of times but that was it, the crime aspect of the show was super sloppy and amateurish, the romance with the second couple was childish and unwatchable because of it's cringiness, and the mystery wasn't much of a mystery to begin with, from the first episodes I said and commented here that prosecutor Han was sus and he was probably the villain, so the mystery and "Twist" was obvious to everyone. About the cast; apart from SIG the rest of the cast weren't anything to write home about, they did the bare minimum I guess and did what they could with a weak script. and whoever casted the FL needs to get fired and never work in casting again. The characters that bothered me so much were the FL which I'm sure everyone already knows why, and Gong Soo Cheol; I hated him so much, I hated the way he spoke, his mannerism, and his body language, also his hair really bothered me, I just wanted to go into my tv and make it at least human looking. it made it super hard for me to believe the SFL could fall for him with that ridiculous haircut. I'll give this drama a 6/10 and 4.5 points of that is just for SIG, without him, this drama isn't even worth 2 points.
I loved episodes 3 & 4, the Stove league Easter-egg was so funny I laughed so hard🤣🤣. Also I was wondering; wouldn't the suspect's former lawyer's son working as the prosecutor against him be considered some sort of conflict of interest?? or I'm wrong?
What happened😨???????
why are there only 12 episodes now🤯🤯????
did something happen😱😱??

I just hope they keep it this upbeat and fun for the remaining 12 episodes too.
