YW conversation with her dad doubting herself & JH argument with his sister about YW - it would’ve been a perfect…
Yes! I 100% agree it's a very cheap and easy way to create conflict and in reality relationships that are on again off again rarely succeed and even if they get married what are they gonna do at the first sign of trouble? get divorced for two episodes and then get married again. it's so stupid
Sometimes when i read about some people's comments on dramas, i wish you people can just write and act your own…
It's because those two episodes have direct impact on the plot, they're the culmination of weeks of watching, this isn't a James bond movie; you can't just say I didn't like casino royal but the rest were good, it's a TV-show, it's all connected and when the end result is nothing but a bunch of cliche tropes and with plot points that have had zero conclusion or horrible ones, you can't fault people or me for thinking that this has been a waste of time.
I want to watch this drama but i heard that this drama becomes typical cliche kdrama with too much romance problems…
Until Episode 12 it's a fantastic watch, except for the horrible mother of the FL that wants to get rid of her and a fellow lawyer that wants to destroy the FL's career for no apparent reason, besides those it's fine. Episode 13 & 14 though is where it becomes trash, the Bully that was trying to get rid of the FL suddenly does 180 and without any consequences for his previous actions starts something with the SFL too, then there is the stupid break up scene that makes zero sense and sends a horrible message to the audience. the supervisor in charge of the FL suddenly gets cancer with zero explanation or build up.
100% do not recommend, it seems the writer decided to shove as much cliche as she could in the last 4 episodes just to piss off the audience, I would have dropped if I hadn't wasted my time on 14 episodes already, I'm just gonna fast-forward the last 2 episodes to get it over with.
you're right about the message of the drama Considering everything we've seen with Min-woo and the stupid break up, the message of the drama is the be mean and abuse autistic people, society will rewards this behavior and also don't date autistic people either cuz your family and "society" will disapprove.
I think the fault is with us, because it had a couple of fresh ideas and the concept was quite interesting, we put it on a pedestal and even though the writing became weaker week by week, we gave it the benefit of the doubt that it will deliver in the last episodes which it didn't and now we're disappointed.
and yeah! it never had that much of a depth, I made the same mistake.
I like how geum rami was 'is it me or that angel.......and it was sad seeing they broke up but she was right.…
But by doing the whole break up thing the message of the drama changes drastically and becomes: Don't date autistic people, society and family will disapprove, no matter how much you love them.
Yeah, I've been hating on Min-woo for about halfway through the drama and he either should have faced the consequences of his actions and ended his character arc by being either fired or disbarred, or have an intensive deep redemption arc that is the focus of several episodes and after seeing the wrong of his action be given a happy ending. as it stands this drama has a horrible message in regards to Min-woo's arc: Bully and betray those that are disabled or weaker than you with zero consequences and we'll guarantee you'll get a hot GF at the end too as a bonus for being an asshole.
It would be as if in Harry potter, Dolores umbrdige at the end of the book/movie gets rewarded with the position of minister of magic, get's a medal for torturing children and marries George clooney.
really? considering the train-wreck that was 13 & 14, it's still your favorite drama???I find that hard to believe.
Well! I'm a cynic and am never positive so maybe that's why I don't get how you can still stay positive when there are every indication that this is going downhill, but to each his own
I feel like I am the only one in the comments that is still fully vibing with the drama lolI am honestly happy…
Dude!! do you know what a break up is?? a break up contrarily to what Korean dramas have you believe is not something that people come back form, a beak up is the ultimate form of terminating all contact with your significant other, it's not something to learn from to be with the person you just broke up with two seconds ago, it could be a learning opportunity in future relationships but not the on you just ended. it's mostly permanent and even if they ever wanted to get back together it takes time and it's not something that can be achieved in just 2 episodes or a day?
Also what do you mean Min-woo's redemption, there was no redemption, there was no arc nothing to even indicate he's even sorry.
Yeah, it genuinely turned into a chore, I'm just gonna fast-froward through the last 2 episodes just to finish, I don't care anymore about the drama and the plot. 13 & 14 killed all of my excitement, and they managed to ruin a very good drama. well! this just proved that it's not special at all, it turned about to be the same cliche drama we've had for decades, it had fresh ideas it just didn't have the stones to follow-through with those fresh ideas and instead chose the easy and safe method of relying on tropes to finish.
What minwoo did during the jeju trip were nothing special, buying flowers, helping her carrying alcohol. Suyeon,…
doesn't seem like it she went from a bubbly fun character to one that is so desperate for the first pretty face that pays attention to her, also what redemption arc are you taking about? there was none.
And they added the break up cliche too which also has to be solved in the last 2 episodeWhy do they have to rush…
exactly, they hadn't even finished with previous issues and plot-points and now they're creating new drama and issues, this is such a downfall. Also WTH is going on with Min-woo? are they just glossing over the horrible things he did???

but that's the thing about endings, they can make or break it for a show, look at Game of thrones, It had a bunch of good seasons but because the last ones were terrible, all their hard work went down the drain.
Same thing is happening here, the direction 13 & 14 went with a bunch of plot-points were either completely unnecessary, out of character or a total waste of time.
You can't just say "It is just two episodes", this is a tv-show with continuous connecting episodes, it's all connected when you look at the main plot not considering the cases, so if the conclusions to the plots from previous episodes suck then all those previous episodes no matter how good they were become nothing more than a waste of time.
Yea, the change of the overall vibe and characters sudden weird behaviour makes you think that there's a several…
exactly, I don't know why there was a need to rush this much? and they could have taken the story to a satisfying conclusion in the remaining episodes if they hadn't added unnecessary drama where there wasn't a need for one.
I used to recommend this drama to everyone on different forums and discord servers I'm in but now I feel embarrassed for my recommendation and there is no way I'm ever recommending this drama to anyone, as far as I'm concerned I'm done with this drama and I'm just gonna watch the last two episodes to finish it out of obligation rather than any enjoyment from finishing it.
These two episodes really made me hate the drama and I'll probably be in a nasty mood because of it for a whole week until I can be done with it. I just don't understand why there was a need to do this?
