Bahaha! That moment in episode 10 where the commissioner zones out and solves a giant problem she didn't know existed - we've all been there! It made me laugh so much in reminiscence of That's So Raven! You did well commissioner!!
I have so many questions starting off with Who is Sae Rom? Is the sis still alive? Can she be Sae Rom?( but the…
Personally I'm hoping that Sae Rom is Yoo Ryung's sister that the new carer found wandering around the train station or thereabouts after escaping the Ghost to try replace her own missing daughter aka the real Sae Rom. Yoo Ryung's sister was wearing a soft pink blouse and cream/beige cardigan and not that cute pink dress with the frills on the day she disappeared so I would find it a stretch for the detectives to say that those clothes were Yoo Ryung's sisters. Another thing that makes me think this is a strong possibility is the locks on the door when the new carer was talking to 'Sae Rom' in her own home. Could be that Yoo Ryung's sister keeps trying to get out so she can go home... but she has been forcibly silenced by the amount of blood around her throat in the picture on Ma Ri's detective board so she wasn't able to cry out as she did when she was on the train with Yoo Ryung two years ago.
I'd love to hear other thoughts on this theory as well because I feel that as much as we love watching detective dramas, most of us are also subconsciously working the cases in our own minds with the detectives hehe XD
Please - that exchange between Edward and Jessica at the end of Episode 10 was one of the best I have seen in 2019. Instantly top of the list. So perfectly done!
When you think of political dramas, you often think of slow moving or uninteresting melodramas... but this is so fast paced, interesting and intelligent. I know we're only at episode two and it's likely too soon to judge accurately but I think we're in for some spectacular take downs ahead and I'm so excited to see more.
I know I'm not the only one absolutely enthralled by how Lee Jin Wook is so artfully portraying Detective Do's slow decent into madness - who else is appreciating his performance throughout Voice3 as much as I am?
I watched first episode and was amazed BUT what keeps me from watching more is tha fact that I think it has more…
There is an even spread of married couple romance, comedy and politics. You'd be missing out if you didn't watch it since it's pretty fun and the multi-level humour and laugh out loud moments keep coming throughout the drama without getting stale or stupid. Sweet, funny and interesting. Great cast, great writing/directing/production.
This feeling called affection, I have it in copious amounts for Possessed. The story and the cast are able to nail every single emotion so clearly from helplessness to love without drawing away from the main premise, and the characters develop so realistically! It would be such a waste for new and established drama viewers to sleep on this drama.
I also feel the need to add that if your main interest in kdrama is romance, this is probably a good one to introduce you to other genres.
I really feel the need to praise the soundtrack for My Fellow Citizens. It's still only early days but you can really enjoy a drama more when the music is on point and so far it has been fantastic!
