Hidden Gem Honestly- I think anyone will like this show
Genuinely a perfect show in every way!! Pacing was great and I was constantly cracking up at the jokes, which is impressive because i’m not normally a huge fan of comedy shows but this one got me lol. But it’s not only comedy, in fact it actually gets more serious especially in the later parts of the show and there’s some romance and action. I’m a big fan of action/fighting and I was shocked at how fire the fight choreography was for a show not focused on it. Overall amazing 10/10 it has everything and it does everything well!! I’d highly suggest anyone to watch this, since it doesn’t feel like it has a specific genre and I believe most people will enjoy it :))Was this review helpful to you?
Went off the rails in the last episode, plot felt undeveloped, could have used like 8 more episodes.
I feel so confused. I just finished the show and had no idea what happened in like the last 45 minutes.. the plot completely went off the rails, characters acted super out of character, and there were a ton of plot holes. Oh, and also the “ending” isn’t really an ending, it’s super ambiguous. It’s really too bad because the first 5 episodes were genuinely really interesting to watch and well-made. It felt like the show needed an extra 8 episodes to fully develop and it is really obvious that the ending is rushed.I would still tentatively recommend Connect, because the first part was actually super well made and engaging, however when I got to the last episode it truly felt like the full plot hadn’t even started, so it was a disappointment to realize it was the last episode lol. And then of course the last episode was ridiculous and out of character for the rest of the show. If you want to watch it, go ahead, but I would probably just skip the last episode and pretend like it doesn’t exist because it’s probably just as satisfying as the “real” ending without the stupid plot holes.

Great show, ending was kind of lame
Great show and very refreshing concept! OST was astonishingly good, production quality was amazing, overall very solid and I was super interested the entire time- which is saying a lot since I have adhd lol.It did feel like the ending was very rushed/kind of mid compared to the rest of the show.
While the ending knocked down my ratings a bit, I still think it is worth watching, and the rest of the show is very high quality.

Woah. This show was so unexpectedly good! When I first found this on MDL by complete chance, I wasn’t expecting much, as I hadn’t heard any hype or recommendations for the show. However after watching it, I believe it compares to some of the top thrillers/mysteries/military k-dramas and even exceeds them in many ways. Full disclosure- I actually finished the show a few months before writing this review so I don’t quite remember all of the small details, but honestly the show was so good, i’m already considering rewatching it. The pacing was so well done- rare in K-dramas honestly, the acting was amazing and so was the plot. Nothing felt out of place or took me out of the show, and I felt engaged the entire time (rare for my adhd self lol). If you’re looking for an all-rounder good show, I would HIGHLY recommend this show, even if it’s not as popular as others, it really deserves to be. This show is SO UNDERRATED!!
Wow! As an avid thriller/action kdrama enjoyer, I thought I had already seen all of the “good” shows in that genre and was expecting this to be disappointing considering the lack of reviews/hype around it. That couldn’t be further from the truth. This show was unexpectedly AMAZING. I didn’t get bored once throughout all of the 16 episodes, and the plot was exciting and engaging. The acting was insanely good too. And for once, I didn’t absolutely hate the ending lol!My only complaint is there are a few plot holes, but honestly, the acting and pacing makes it not incredibly noticeable or impactful unless you care a TON about small details. One plot hole in particular bugged me a bit, but I could still overlook it as the show is amazing in every other aspect.
If you enjoy thrillers (especially ones with sci-fi, medical experiments, mysteries, and fighting) and haven’t seen this show, I would highly recommend this! I still cannot believe I didn’t hear about it until now honestly. It’s just as good (if not better) than some of the big name/hyped kdramas in the same genre!
