WOW! I must say this drama is totally mind-blowing!!! BRILLIANT INDEED!!! Truth be told, it has been quite a while, since the last time I’ve ever felt so utterly thrilled and emotionally invested in a Korean drama, after all Chinese dramas are the fad these days as evidenced by its ever growing base of fandoms. Through the years, it is notable how much C-dramas have evolved and become a part of what’s mainstream, and in some sense may have already usurped the Hallyu wave of dramas.
I can’t remember when exactly I started watching more C-dramas than I used to and eventually got addicted to it, but I guess it all started happening when I can no longer get a good quality K-drama, in this day and age, which is at par with the K-drama classics I’ve grown accustomed to through the years. One day, it just all became boring to me, so I embarked on my journey to search for dramas that can give me butterflies in my stomach as well as make my heart beat faster and slower at the same time.
ALAS! I’m glad K-drama writers are finally starting to up their game once again. Don’t get me wrong. I’m still a certified K-drama fan, but unfortunately, sometimes we just get tired of watching the same old cliche and plot holes in the synopsis. Thus, craving for something new is inevitable. We need more K-dramas like this that provide us with a breath of fresh air.
P.S. This drama rendered me with better (if not the same) feels I got from watching Love O2O, Put Your Head On My Shoulders, The Eternal Love, The Eternal Love 2, Ashes of Love, and Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. So yeah, I’m pretty much into historical dramas too. LOL CHEERS TO 32 EPISODES!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
