Fin went by another name earlier which is why Ken had issues finding him. He's the young guy that worked in Ken's dad's restaurant and took permission from Ken in EP 2 for emergency leave that he had to rush back to Thailand for a family thing. I assume as Ken was back in Thailand and in the general area he decided to check up on his staff member out of concern
