I have stopped watching it on episode 40 . Damn... Buried City ... drama is better although the actors are not so famous...but the ending in the sequel is really better ...
I was avoiding watching this in the beginning because of open and some said it's sad ending. Since I am a person who is allergic to sad or open ending, i don't wanna watch this. But then I saw it has a sequel...and found out it' has a happy ending so I start watching this. IMO, this drama has a good potential story..it's up and down..not always up and not always down...I like the location is not just inside the palace or only 2 place..it's even show another state. The negative of this drama ..the most annoying thing here is the Female Lead. If just they choose a female lead that look like an 18-24 years old girl instead of a girl who look like a 10-12 years old girl and act like an 6-8 years old girl, this drama will be better and I believe the rate will be up too. The romance between the ML and Fl then won't look make him look like a pedo.
The sequel should not be put separated...it looks like just 3- 4 mode episodes ... Idk why they don't just add them directly in the last season.
They should have the effect better.
The Xirong 1st and 2nd prince + An Ziyi look more handsome than ML...hahha..sorry...

The only minus here is the FL is way too young ..she was around 17-18 when filming this. She looks like a little girl just started to become teenager. ( 1+-12 y.o girl) .. She is fit if playing like "Dong Er" in The Sleuth as a little young girl instead of a girl who fall in love in 20-eth. It could be better if the girl look young but not look like a little girl. The FL is so childish and also make him look like a pedo in the beginning thinking he will fall in love in her later...
