You should give it another shot. I was also hesitant at first, I don't like those kinda themes. But it is made…
It's not one of my favorite dramas, but it was a good watch. If you're hesitating because of that dad-daughter relationship, don't worry. They never consider each other that way, it's a mere title, and it's resolved early on. I hope you enjoy it :)
Starts out great and very funny and sweet, but gradually gets worse after say 6 episodes. Suddenly you realize…
That's what you call slice of life. No unnecessary ridiculous shenanigans and drama needed. This is one of my favorite dramas, and I've rewatched it many times. It's sweet, funny, heartfelt and very much shows that appearance isn't everything. To each their own, but in my opinion it is not overrated at all. I gave it a 9.5/10
Me too. The 2nd guy is much more interesting. But I don't think it's impossible to have a "2nd lead" (in the begining…
Yeah, but I am more of a binge-watcher, so I guess I'll wait until those have finished. Touch your heart seems like a drama I can watch while airing though, and I just looove the actors. And yeah, sadly Bonus Book has failed my expectations so far. Let's see!
I love your comment so much it just said what all I felt and explained a lot this was such a rollercoaster drama…
I second pretty much all the recommendations, especially the older ones 'Queen In Hyun's Man' and 'City Hunter' shouldn't be missed, although the fashion sense is questionable lol I only dropped 'Are you human too', couldn't stay invested.
Could someone tell me which episodes play in Hungary? I do not want to watch the whole drama, just only those…
There is not a single episode set in Hungary. However, there are some episodes/scenes that supposedly take place in Granada Spain, but they filmed in all kinds of places in Europe. Maybe they added some Hungary in there, too. I could catch glimpses of Ljubljana and Girona at least.

That is true, but Dream High and most other dramas I can think of that went down that road weren't romantic comedies but more friendship/slice-of-life dramas with some romance on the side. Even on the poster here, it is just those two. It seems laid out for them to end up together, but I guess she might date second lead first, before ending up with her long-time friend. Even so, I guess you never know. I'll put it on hold until it's finished airing, though. Not enjoying it as much as I should. 'Touch your heart' is my fav at the moment :)
Unpopular opinion, but I think they don't have any romantic chemistry at all (yet). I think they're cute and adorable like brother and sister or best friends, he obviously loved her in the past one-sidedly, but I don't see any sparks. Like, at all. I ship him with his junior at work who goes to his house when drunk, and I ship the female lead with the dog-guy. I know it's not gonna happen, though, so I wonder if I should drop it. -sigh-
As someone who works at getting jobs for others and improving their resumes, I learned something very valuable…
You may be right about that, but there is definitely a difference in working hard and giving it your all and letting others walk all over you and getting exploited until you literally break down. There are still too many fields where this is the case.
I am also not a big fan of noona romances, but in this case it doesn't really feel that way. Because he is very successful in his career, he is mature and independent and he is even the one to support her. So although there is an age gap, it doesn't really feel that way. You should give it a shot. I didn't like the first episode, but it gets better.
I really, really want to watch this, but I am so afraid it will be heartbreaking as fuck. Is it one of those drama that will make you cry from start to finish, or only in parts? I need to be mentally prepared. I have had cases of Alzheimers in my family, so I think it'll hit me hard.
Not at all a K-pop fan, but Junho has become one of my favorite actors spiraling to fame. He stole the show in Chief Kim as gluttonous sociopath, made our hearts ache in Just between lovers and swept us off our feet as charismatic chef in Wok of Love. All the dramas he has starred in have a rating above 8.0, that's a feat!

Super hyped for the director and cast! I hope the screenwriting will be good. At least I enjoyed Master's Sun. Korean Odyssey has also quite some good ratings. Fingers crossed.
This is the only drama/movie starring Jang Hyuk that Im really struggling with. To start off he is not the main…
Jang Hyuk is absolutely amazing in this drama, I love his character to pieces, but I rooted for the main couple and thought their chemistry was great, especially in the later episode when their feelings have developed. Chil Seong simply needed more time to settle his affairs, especially around his parents, but I believe he found love in the end :)
Almost done rewatching this drama, and now I remember the only character on the 'good' side I hated was her mother. Ack, I want to slap her face, honestly. She's a horrible, horrible selfish human being.
Also: The summary on this site is not deserving. It doesn't even give a vague idea of the plot.
I think JSY has improved a LOT in her acting. She's not on the same level as the other leads, but I won't write…
It's good to hear you say that because I hated her in Bridal Mask and couldn't watch anything with her in a leading role ever since. Crossing my fingers now.
I had to laugh so hard at the coat thing. Freaking YES. Gosh, it is so annoying, honestly. I mean, same thing with the phones, I know they get sponsored and stuff, but then at least only let the rich people in the drama use expensive phones. And everyone is always using the same model, too. Makes no sense! My eyes were actually opened about the Coat thing recently when I watched 'beauty inside' and the stylists came along to a talk with the director and the actresses and present the wardrobes. Of course they'd choose expensive brand clothing that's sponsored and stuff. This is so baffling to me, because I am a costume designer. I studied how to NOT make that kind of mistakes/choose a costume/wardrobe that's befitting for the character. And I just think it's sad they're simply disregarding our profession, just because of sponsoring. Ugh, well, whatever.
I liked this drama because of the huge amount of skinship and kisses, but that's all I liked about it. It was…
I agree it's not a very good drama, but they did explain everything around the secrets/past kidnap incident. Also about why her mother died. Or are you talking about something else?
