When I first watched it, I rated it a 7.5, then I rewatched it a couple of months later and raised my rating to 8. Now again, I am rewatching and actually falling in love with it all over again, I might have to raise it once more. I do have my issues with it (Sanha's mom doesn't deserve his forgiveness and kindness and I just wish they hadn't made him so forgiving, because she's a terrible, terrible mother, secondly the time skip and how everyone behaved...), but all in all it's a good drama. It's definitely "Slice of Life", there's no grand plot, but it's for people who like seeing characters grow and overcome their past scars, finding purpose in the present and future. There's an appreciation for simple moments, family and friends coming together around one table, sharing joy, tears and laughter. For many here and also the characters in the show, this means healing. The relationship between
I only have one thing to say, dating two men is low life
There's a difference between casual dating and a committed relationship. When you're just getting to know each other, there's nothing wrong with 'seeing' several people, as long as you're open about it. It's basically like hanging out with friends, feelings may develop, but they're not there yet. Although I expect your personal opinion if that's not your thing, it's not 'low life'. Nobody was deceived, and nothing was promised in the first place.
LMAO I think its just to show off how he could afford his house cause otherwise you could take the ceo part out…
I think primarily it was to show to not judge a book by its cover. Like everyone treats him like a delinquent, while he's hardworking and even managed to build a company. But yeah, I agree that it would not have been necessary.
Enjoyed the first like... 3 episodes a lot. Then it just goes downhill, because it keeps repeating the same 'jokes' and tropes over and over. I really wanted to love it, but it's... just not clicking with me. 2FL is annoying af, what's there to hate about the sweet boy? Dropped at ep 8, not looking back. 6.5/10
"VR Dating Company CEO, the love hater. Documentary Writer, who's unable to express or notice others feeling. This is sweet but quite bloody story of them overcoming traumas. " What's with the description, does MDL even check the grammar before publishing? Well, from the comments I read, it's to the same level as the show itself it seems...
I remember watching a couple of episodes when it aired and sort of liking the mood but then also being sort of uncomfortable with some of it. Difficult to explain. I didn't write down how much I've seen so I guess I've gotta rewatch to finish...
Wow I also saw ur comments in hot stove league drama too. U have been commenting here n there. I guess u r new…
Unemployed Romance: usually don't watch dramas with a rating lower than 7.5 or so, but I made an exception for Nam Goong Min. I didn't regret it!! The ratings really don't do it justice. Some people may be put off by the unusual setup of this drama, but I thought it was really refreshing. Funny and yet with some lessons to learn, a good slice-of-life. Give it a chance, just be open-minded, and remember it is a drama about second chances in life :) I think the first three episodes are somewhat horrible, though, with all the weird parody elements going on, and it takes a while for ML to show up. Episodes 4 to 6 are made up of the backstory/past of the main leads. I think it would have been better to entwine the present and past plot to keep the viewers more invested, but well... My biggest regret is that the ending is so sudden. At least half an episode more would have been needed to properly wrap things up and not have us feel like the leads pulled the most selfish acts ever. It left us hanging. Even so, I enjoyed it and it's a short watch. I guess I could relate to it even more now with having some work experience under my belt and worrying for what the future might bring. Also very important, watch until the very last second, a couple of scenes are actually shown after the credits have rolled.

Good Manager is a great one, too! I've heard great things about "Remember: war of the son", still on my pwl. I actually even watched some of his romcoms, and I think they're definitely worth watching even if not groundbreaking (I watched them like 7 years ago so my memory could be deceiving lol). The undateables was funny, and I enjoyed "I need romance 3" (beware, he's the second lead in this one!). Then there's 'unemployed romance', which is a bit of a difficult one, more under a spoiler.
8.7 is crazzyyyynever trusting mdl rating. what the fk was this seriesabsolutely no plot. js a mom with mental…
It's called "Slice of Life" and it's for people who like seeing characters grow and overcome their past scars, finding purpose in the present and future. There's an appreciation for simple moments, family and friends coming together around one table, sharing joy, tears and laughter. For many here and also the characters in the show, this means healing. You don't have to enjoy it, but it doesn't automatically make it a bad show. You'll know what you're in for by reading the summary.
i was convinced the leads had no chemistry in the first half- thats because it really did come out of nowhere…
If you pay attention in the beginning you can clearly see that he likes her a lot. It's very subtle, but he constantly notices things about her, asking her (even in a blunt matter, because he cannot express himself very well) and of course there's the coffee scene (and it's obvious that he bought it for her, but then just brushes it aside out of embarrassment perhaps?)
It's not where written that all BOD will be good looking 😁 remember we have 900 varients of bf😂
It's also rude to call someone ugly. He may not be your type, but he's not ugly. I watched him in several dramas where he's charming. Unfortunately these days he often gets 'doofus' roles lol
Great concept with flaws. I didn't think I would ever say that, but I think the show was too long for how it was handled. The beginning dragged way too much with a looooot of screentime spent on her dating in VR (not gonna lie tho, I swooned over Seo Kang Joon more than I should have, I mean who could resist THOSE eyes?!) , we barely got any interaction from the leads. I enjoyed the second half much more. Overall it was fun and cute, but also cringe at points. I liked that their dating felt natural and how they resolved the 'big blow up' in the final episodes, it wasn't too over the top. If they decided to make a spinoff, I would love to see the boyfriend on demand app seen from a more critical standpoint, like f.e. a psychologist ML, who treats patients that got seriously addicted to BOD. To understand the patients better he has to try the app (ah well i guess by that point there should exist a 'Girlfriend on Demand' as well). And then he meets a woman IRL who looks exactly like his date on the show, maybe it was tailored after her or it's a coincidence. That would be fun. All in all this setup is really interesting. 8.0/10
Hey, the drama is soaked in romance... FL and ALbert even went on dates... Shin andNora too... Then we have crushes,…
As I said, I haven't seen the final two episodes yet, so I was just referring to the show up to that point and personally I couldn't feel any sweetness at all. Curiosity perhaps, and as I said, regret for how it ended. But I guess that's in the eyes of the beholder, so if you interpreted it differently, that's fine! :) I'm not in the mood to finish it right now but I will at some point. And then yeah, I hope for Mr. Right to come along (I do think Al or Mr. Nerd would've been good for her ;') )
I enjoyed this more than I think I would. As someone who has worked in the fashion/design industry, I can say…
I do have to say though, I wish they had addressed FL's cheating, or well, even if she was just casually dating 2ML, I don't like that he tried to get her back and she couldn't even tell him that she had been with someone else. While he probably knows because he is very perceptive, I would've appreciated some honesty from her end.
it was good one time watch, but I wanted to see more of designing and unique dresses only the event in last ep…
There is a japanese movie called Paradise Kiss, which focuses on Fashion Design. It's old so it's a bit odd perhaps. The anime is better than the movie imo.
I enjoyed this more than I think I would. As someone who has worked in the fashion/design industry, I can say for sure that while some scenes are over the top, some parts are spot on. I just wish they had focused more on the creative process behind a collection. The final runway show was phenomenal though, and I loved (most) of the fashion and costumes in this show, much more than Emily in Paris f.e. S.ome characters here grated on my nerves, but over all I fell in love with everyone, I loved the dynamic between our four leads. Friendship goals! Romance was interesting as well, not your typical fairytale love story for sure, but I appreciated the more realistic aspect here. May rewatch when I'm in the mood, 8/10

To be honest I didn't feel like there was any love left between them. I haven't finished the final two episodes, but before that, while there were definitely feelings involved, they seemed to be more about bitterness, hurt, and perhaps a little regret. Never was I under the impression that either of them was jealous and/or wished to get back together. ML tries to get FL kicked out but when he fails he uses her to his benefit. He wasn't looking out for her at all, and she in turn just treats him with contempt. I am sure they were madly in love at some point, but here all I see is bitterness. Well, I guess i'll have to finish the drama first to know for sure :)

Hmm, I don't really consider any of the encounters 'romantic'/actual dating, I think there could be a 'slight romance' tag, but listing it in the category seems too much? Generally I think it's confusing because of the romance genre and the plot description one would think that there's romance between FL/ML where there's (thankfully) none. Anyway, people watching this for romance only would be disappointed I would think.
