'It's Okay, That's love', my all time favorite <3333 So much love for this!! And Just between Lovers was also quite memorable, albeit at times really painful. Soratobu Kouhoushitsu is one of the few Japanese dramas I have seen, and it was good as well.
I think maybe 'Another Miss Oh' would be another recommendation, although the healing in this case has a lot to do with broken love. But each character also struggles with their own circumstances, like inferiority complex, being part of a complicated family and such.
Another healing recommendation is 'Oh My Venus'. The premise sounds quite dull, but the further you dive into it, the more you discover all the demons within the characters they have to overcome. Love love love this drama.
The people liking it has better taste than you. Even in japan and phillipines it rated high when it airef.
Dancing Goat, I find it funny that you're talking about low standards when you've rated more than half the dramas you have watched with a full score of 10, even those I would label mediocre at best. Just as a comparison, I've watched more than 150 dramas, and I only gave 2 a full score. Of course you're welcome to rate the shows as you wish, but don't insult those that have a different opinion from yours.
Okay, everything is getting boring... and what Min Ho said in the closing of ep 15 is straight. Bo Yeong is causing…
I think her personal problems have nothing at all to do with her capabilities at work. We constantly see her as nothing but professional while working, she is very caring and trustworthy for her patients, which is crucial in her field. While I agree she has yet to grow in a relationship aspect, it's to be expected of someone her age. All her emotional turmoil seems reasonable to me. A hundred times better than Min Ho's rude behavior whenever something doesn't go his way.
What's the matter, you can always change your ratings as you go. I always rate the dramas after watching like…
But those episode ratings don't count for the overall ratings, so it doesn't show in the Top show overview. Personally I think it's nonsense to 'review' an ongoing drama, but a simple star rating that's open to change is a different matter. But anyway, I guess people just feel differently about that.
I seriously don't understand how 86 persons rated this 8.6 when there are only 4 eps out !!! If you want to rate…
What's the matter, you can always change your ratings as you go. I always rate the dramas after watching like 5 pr 6 episodes but I usually change it a couple of times until I finish. There is nothing wrong with that? Otherwise it would be difficult to give an idea about ratings for an ongoing show.
So excited! I love Lee Sang Yoon. BTW, what's the issue with the age gap? He is 34 and she is 27. The gap is 7…
Uh, no, she is 27, he is 36, that's a 9 years difference. I am not saying it's terrible, but I myself am 28, and I couldn't imagine dating someone who's 36. But yeah, you're right, Marriage Contract was amazing. I am glad I only found out about their age difference after completing it, though. I just think Lee Sang Yoon looks way older than 36. Let's wait and see, it might be amazing.
I fucking need korean version without this horrible chinese dubbing, I honestly can't stand these voices…
This is a Chinese production, so this is the original. I agree with you, though. I haven't watched a single Chinese drama or movie without terrible audio.
How come there are 4 ep in one week? And they wrote that it’s gonna air only on Monday and Tuesday. I am confused
It's probably again one of these dramas where the episodes are split in half and are only 30 minutes long. So 4 episodes are actually 2 episodes only and two will be airing on Monday and then two on Tuesday. This is a regular '20 eps' drama.
Thats cheating! Min Ho was running his ass off while Dr Ye was in a car. Obviously Dr Ye would reach to her first.…
Bo Young said she would meet Min Ho after her other appointment (with Dr. Ye), though. There was no reason for him to rush, and it was also not a competition for who gets there faster. It's about who Bo Young has feelings for. Even if Min Ho had confessed to her before, she would have rejected him. It is obvious she treasures him, but only as a friend now. She has long moved past her crush. I feel bad for him, too, but it wasn't really a race ^^"
Will make a review on this show after it ends; what I liked and didn't like and how I thought of all the other…
I don't see many people here who are familiar with the work this is based on, so I would like your opinion on this. I read the original novel to this, even designed a stage and costume concept for university and watched several movie adaptions to prepare for it. This is why I feel a somewhat deeper connection to all the characters, and while I was looking forward to see a Korean adaption, I was afraid of all the things that could go wrong with this, so I have only watched episode 1. Most of the viewers here seem to think it's the worst drama in history or something... Do you think it is still worth watching? Would I enjoy it with the original French novel in mind? I would appreciate a reply, thank you.
I don't usually bitch over how overrated a show is, but if there is one, it's this one. This deserves a 7 at MOST, much less if you ask me. Honestly, there is like... no plot. The love-line is super cute but cheesy af, and everything else is just plain bad. I can only shake my head in disbelief of those MDL ratings.
I have to chuckle about everyone bitching at how bad the writing for this drama is. Trust me, it's not. You just have to pay close attention. There's a ton of rules and variables to the world and the drama, a shitload of plot twists, and if you zone out for even a moment, you're likely to be lost and blame the lack of understanding on 'plot holes' that don't actually exist. I am not saying this drama is perfect. There are indeed some scenes that may seem repetitive, but they all serve a purpose, and it's because of an ever evolving world that's difficult to grasp. Personally I loved the drama from start to finish, even though I admit the beginning was just top-notch, compared. Their romance is sweet and heart-wrenching at the same time, as is the fatherly love. The side characters are super funny, the music is fantastic, the villains and back and forth of the two worlds will keep you at the edge of your seat. It's been a while since I've been so invested in a drama and I recommend it whole heartedly to those that seek romance paired with action and suspense. Just remember not to watch it at 5 AM ready to fall asleep as you might be missing some important things ;) 9/10 from me.
Omg so overrated! This drama would have been good if it had been 10-12 episodes. I really loved the beginning -…
To me, it feels like you didn't pay close attention. Firstly, I cannot remember in which episode, but after the writer gets back his face, Chul says he realized that the writer wasn't actually a 'creator'. He could only control the handful of people that he drew. He would have had to create billions of people, if he had included the extras and variables in the drama. Secondly, even those characters that he created, could gain a life of their own, if they started to act outside of the frame that was meant for them. That's the whole point of the drama. They could escape their predestined fate and characteristics. It may have been careless to try to solve it with a dream, and even giving him his own face, with that I agree. But that's human. We make mistakes, and we pay for them, too. Personally, I am quite picky when it comes to fantasy/sci-fi dramas and always find plot holes to nitpick, but in my opinion they did an excellent job in W. Every time I thought 'but what about--?' they explained it in the next moment or episode. Maybe you should rewatch it at some point? :)
I am at episode 5 and I am starting to get bored. I really love slow romance dramas, with little conflict and just beautiful depiction of life. While their chemistry is off the charts, and I am really enjoying this, there are also some super annoying parts: 1. her family. Like, her mom, honestly, I cannot stand her. 2. Her ex. Call the cops. 3. The music. There are a couple of songs that are super nice, but they keep repeating the same ones over and over again... I especially cannot hear the "Save the last dance for me" song. CRINGEY. 4. Veeeeeeeeeeeeeery artsy and repetitive slow-motion scenes where nothing ever happens. It was cute at the beginning, now it's getting old (especially when they choose a shitty song as layover...) They stretch a scene that could be 1 minute long out to 10 minutes... Kay, sorry, I am done complaining, I love the main leads to bits, just saying, this is not the best drama of the century and doesn't deserve such a high rating in my opinion. Gonna watch the episodes one by one so I can hopefully stick around.
