Thank you for your response. I see that you rated this drama a 10. I haven't looked at your review list yet but…
You are right.. I personally don't have any experience living with a person who has alzheimer. I can imagine that care takers would have a very tough time. When I have the time, I probably re-watch this drama from another point of view. Thanks

I have really come to admire Ahn Pan Seok and his talent form mood setting. In regards to "secret love affair" (SLA) I agree with you about the BJ song.. The whole song was truly a masterpiece and full of emotions.
However, I disagree about the ending. I like to be spoon fed at tell me what happened vs. leaving it me to guess. In SLA he left a lot of questions unanswered.. "how long was the sentence". What happened to the remaining players etc. Although I admire APS's way of creating an emotional and engaging drama, I feel that he can spend a little more time to resolve the conflicts.
Please post more.. I am running out of quality dramas and looking for equivalent to STIR, OSN & now SLA. Any opinions on "A Wife's credentials" & "Heard through the grapevine"?

Person Ahn Pan Seok
Just finished watching Secret Love Affair (SLA). Loved it as much as SITR and OSN. I have really come to admire Ahn Pan Seok's (APS) artistic flair but what annoys me about APS is that he always leaves the ending with a lot of unanswered questions. Like SITR, yes our primary couple got together in the last 15 minutes but what really changed for them to able to spend their lives together? Similarily, like a European movies, the ending leaves it your imagination. He did the same with SLA.
I will watch APS's remaining work such as A wife's credential and Heard it through the grapevine because APS manages to entertain me for 16 hours but he needs additional 15 minutes to really wrap up all the side stories.
Those who haven't watched SLA, I recommend it. The mood setting was excellent. Only criticism I have is that at times the English subtitles didn't make sense and couldn't quite understand the details that contributed to FL ultimate decision.

I checked on Netflix but couldn't find it. May be it is regional or a different title. Thanks for your post.

Title Encounter
For some reason, I loved this drama. Although the story was predictable, I think the director got the timing right in telling the story. For example, when one expects the couple to hold hands, or plant their first kiss, it happened. Personally for me, the chemistry between ML & Fl was missing. I think FL did a fuchsia better job than ML. Although ML seems to have found his rhythm by the end of the drama.

For a romcom, this drama is one of the top in my list.

Thank You. It is nice to share the hobby of watching KDRAMAs with other fans who appreciate quality. I got into KDRAMAs few months ago by accident and now I can't watch anything that is not Korean. :) -- What are your top dramas?

Title Alice
so,in what year was mom YTY was born?? actually no ones age adds up,YTY,oh won, captain detective!!!and yty's mother…
If they are born in different dimensions then the straight time line doesn't matter. My estimate is that she mom YTY was born around 2020. Whereas the professor was born in 1992.
According to the multi-dimensional theory, each decision point ends up creating another dimension.

I am really curious how 2050 world looks like since it only shows the Alice...
Probably the same as now. Nothing much changes in 30 years.

I love this drama and so far they seem to be taking in the right direction. The situation has gotten so far worse that only solution is to have a RESET to bring back some peace. I loved the explanation of "quantum entanglement" for deja vu. Kinda makes sense.
Initially from a romance point of view, I was wondering how will they explain the seeming attraction between the lieutenant and the professor. But, now, there is no doubt she is his mother in all dimensions.
Actually, this drama explores Einstein's conjecture of time travel: What if I go back in time and kill my grandma, would I still be alive? Similarly, if the son, kills his own mother then what happens to him..
I congratulate the writers of coming up with this drama and exploring a very difficult subject of time travel and its consequences without making the story line ridiculous.

In my opinion, they should've extended the ending. It felt like at tge ending stage they had actually overcome…
Thank you for your list. What I liked about Familiar Wife was that he ultimately took responsibility for his misery. But I can also see the typical KDrama love triangle which gets annoying.
I couldn't get into Misaeng. I work in a corporate environment and .....
I have not seen most of the titles in your list and I will add those to my watchlist.
Will be in touch, since we friended each other.
Thanks
