Lol. I do agree with you - there are some points that are just "Drama". Like, in the last episode, where on earth did the child come from (I was thinking "You have been in a freaking relationship, no point at all where you could have mentioned this?"). But what I love so much about this series is, that it feels natural. I hope you get my point, this is in many points not a show where there are girls cheering for the characters, where are stereotypes. It is not perfect but as good as it can be so far - therefor I love it. Of course it could have been better due to the mistakes int he story, but regarding all that is out there, this series stands out for me.

I think your thoughts are pretty good. What else than the sexual instinct can be more "easily" brought back to life (at least for men), just because of the way a male body works. I know this sounds superficial and I don't mean to degrade men with this, but I guess that men are more corresponding to "simple" friction and well, a prostate is helpfull aswell. What really bothers me is that the Movie is mostly seen as BDSM because it is most definitely not due to the lack of consent. And I still struggle with Yoda's motivation behind all this: is his real intention to save Katsuragi? Is he punishing him as replacement for his dead boyfriend? Perhaps he wants to see if this method works because he himself is desperatly searching for a way "back to life"? Nevertheless, this movie was hard to watch for me, not only because of the explicit scenes, more because of the psychological intensity. And although it is super dark in most parts, it kind of ends with a silver lining.
