I'm both SO EXCITED and yet already disappointed because Su Ho isn't listed in this season... 🙃 Why. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME 😠Don't make me write a fix-it fic AND that crossover duhliushdflushdlfiu
You've basically written what I would've (but better, and with actual martial arts knowledge)! It felt like copaganda (the usual, but a bystander joining the force is a plus, no?) which categorizes people and leaves no room for nuance. Obviously not a social commentary kind of movie, so simplistic reigns supreme. I didn't know it was advertised as a comedy, but I agree it doesn't fit. As an action movie though, I'll also rewatch the fights because wow, got my blood pumping!
I was really hoping to like this more but the push-pull is really tiresome by episode 5. Seeing grown people acting…
My Netflix only released 5 eps so I haven't seen beyond that, but yeah in that ep her sudden change of heart (?) had me !???? Like. What. Even characterization wise I'm not sure that tracks but whatever 🙄
I used to love jdramas (but like, over 10 years ago) and ever since I've found myself increasingly cringing at them because... there's not that much that changes, in terms of acting, plot/expectations and the way things are... presented? I can't quite explain it but it's 😕
I didn't watch Bloodhounds and I forgot she was supposed to be there, how badly was it edited?
She was in for about half of it, then suddenly disappears abroad (minus a flashback in the last ep iirc) in a completely unbelievable move for her character's actions. I didn't mind the new character, but it'd have been so much better to just leave her in.
