I think he didn't double checked because he remembered her and he really thought that she was his sister.
I know, I see your point. I'm quite rational myself. But I understood his impulse of killing her at that moment because I think he really believed that JK was his sister because he had her in his memories and he was living a hell. I felt that he did that to prevent the chaebol from hurting JK.

I don't know, maybe. However, he was starting to remember and the other memories (the house, the gunshot, the father, the toy robot, the boiling water), turned to be true. Plus the info that the crazy chaebol had given him was true too. I don't think he had many reasons to suspect that his memories were wrong.
I hear you. His actions made zero sense and the drama didn't even TRY to explain them. That's so frustrating.…
Well, it's my opinion. That conversation gave that vibe. Plus he never could explain why he stabbed MY. I don't doubt that he felt apologetic towards him, but I felt that JG was kind of obsessed with JK too. It was very sad at the final scene that he was only crying for JK.
WHYYYYYYY, WHYYYYYYY, MY HEART WAS NOT READYYYYY, WHYYYYYY, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, WHYYYYYYYYYYYY.…
I felt the same. It took me 3 hours to finish the finale although I already knew what was going to happen because I had read the recap. However, despite the sadness, the final scene was beautiful and somehow satisfying. I'm glad I made me watch it, now I feel I can move on. In a couple of days, maybe!

I have a theory... I think that they tried to hint that JG felt something else than brotherly love when Tak told him that love is worrying for someone and that he should think who he worried the most for, and that's why he had never looked her way. In some degree, I think that they tried to hint that he did all that because he didn't want to lose JK (It was obvios that Cho Rong wasn't a threat at all).
The word cliché is not enough to describe this mess. It started very promising and fun, I even overlooked the lacking in production value. But towards the end the writer ran out of ideas and it became plain and boring. I only stayed till the end because I have a crush on Sung Hoon. Watch under your own risk.
I love the second lead love stories in Go Hoo's and Goblin! I hated the open ending in BOF. However, I didn.t enjoy the one in Descendants because I think that they were too childish. One of my favorite second couples that isn't here is from Another Miss Oh. They were simply adorable and I fangirled like crazy when I saw the together in Introverted Boss.
