Yes, back then there just a few of us who were looking at the drama in a positive light. Such a sharp contrast to the comment section now. I agree. The show started from negative and has garnered such a positive response. One can really see the hardwork every actor and staff has put in. Watching this drama has been a wonderful journey. Like you, it has invaded a lot of people's life! Also, I am very thankful to everyone commenting on the thread because knowing everyone's opinions and ranting about stuff together is making watching the show so much more enjoyable; it almost gives off a community feel hahah May we be graced with a happy ending too. I am trying to stay positive here!
Yay! Okada Kenshi! It's alright that he doesn't pass for a 15 year old because he had to play a 18 year old for the other half of the drama. Chugakusei Nikki is just his debut drama but he has done sooo well, it's amazing.

It could be embarrassing for him to call her Hijiri-chan directly too hahah Since it was his diary he could write whatever his inner self desired but to call his former sensei, albeit the object of his affections, by her first name might seem a bit bold. I do think that we'll get to see Akira call her Hijiri-chan which will indicate that they have become closer than before.

Same! I think the whole death thing is very forced, like you want to introduce tragedy and this is all your brain could think of. It's boring and redundant. I trust the writers and the directors who have made a drama that is one of a kind, that ending is highly unsuitable.
